Description
I remember not only the fabulous scenery, the emerald water of the lake, the Alpine mountains, luxurious villas, and divinely delicious food, but also the feeling of “the art of living” and “dolce vita” that was in the air. You learn local history and culture at the same time, which is really rewarding in smaller corners of the country.

DH: Choose a region that appeals to you—mountains or seaside, city or hill town—and make yourself at home.
