The Skrull queen, still disguised as Jessica Drew, considered the resulting "Decimation" to be a boon to the Skrull's plans as they could now divert the part of their forces intended to deal with Earth's mutant population to other areas. These characters were fascinating and a little bit heartbreaking to read about because I felt for them during their experiences during M-Day. Oh, the artwork is exceptionally good, and the dialogue-heavy scenes in the beginning (with the two groups thoughtfully debating on a course of action on a serious matter - that being the life or death of Wanda 'Scarlet Witch' Maximoff - and juggling a fair number of talking heads) are well-written.He sought Xavier's help to cure her but in the last six months even the world's greatest telepathic mind could not mend what was so broken in Wanda's psyche. Their main adversary Magneto also lost his abilities, and two members of the Avengers, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.
