LTP MPG Sealer H20 is a water-based impregnating sealer suitable for all types of polished wall and floor tiles, including polished marble, porcelain, granite, and encaustic. LTP Mattstone helps protect against staining and it strongly repels water, oil and grease while allowing surfaces to breathe. For lower porosity floors, 250ml is required for 5 sqm, and for medium porosity floors, 250ml is required for 2 sqm. Once a good seal is achieved leave the sealer to cure for a minimum of 12 hours to cure, before applying the Ironwax Satin/Gloss. The protective impregnating acrylic coating system provides superb resistance to algae, lichen and staining, forming a protective barrier over the surface to repel unsightly green growth.

Once the grout has been applied and the floor is completely dry, then apply one final coat of Ironwax Satin/Gloss across the entire surface including the grout to provide the floor with a good level of protection. Ensure you shake the bottle well and apply the product in accordance with the instructions on the bottle. However, if you have opted for a grout sealer that is not colourless when you are applying it ensure you keep a damp cloth nearby so that you can wipe the excess grout sealer off of your tiles. Either before the tiles are laid, or before grouting the tiles, the tiles must be sealed with at least 2 coats of LTP Mattstone and 2 coats of the finishing product Ironwax Satin/Gloss. In addition, you should seal your grout once a year or so to ensure that it is protected, preserved and kept looking great.
