Oud Ispahan blends sweet, fresh rose with soft oud notes to make for a truly warm and welcoming scent. In its drydown phase, Woody Oud demonstrates an impressive fidelity to the scent it seeks to replicate.

I have the original TF and wear it sparingly but now i found the Mason Alhambra brand dupe of Tom Fords omg. Whilst having an air of sophistication, I have worn this with a flannel shirt, some jeans, and leather boots. The composition of Privee Couture Collection Roses Vanille is brilliant in its simplicity and concurre.

Really enjoyable clone of Oud Wood, but obviously lacks the depth and sophistication of the original. Sensual yet profoundly professional, this interpretation exudes a sense of royalty, transcendence, and monumentality. Maison Alhambra (by Lattafa) perfume range was created to offer high-quality perfume without breaking the bank. The evocative oakmoss buttresses the sweet sensuality of musk against a backdrop of dark, warm, earthy and woody patchouli notes, sweetened by just a hint of vanilla. My bottle of Woody Oud is brand new and I've heard this line needs time to macerate, so time will tell if the opening and mid become closer than 85% over time.

Because I experienced TF oud wood, I'm getting another one but if you want to experience it first, because samples are hard to find, then this is the best choice. It's a lot drier than other oud colognes on the market, markedly less sweet than some others I own such as Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir. Alhambra did good with this one and made sure not to make it smell synthetic, something oud tends to smell to me.

After that only a skin scent with a bit of amber and a smell of pharmacy/medicine rubber gloves, but in a really bad way. The aim of this fragrance is to delight lovers of perfumes by combining the best of western and oriental styles.

In fact the only other clone that beats the original is Bois du Portugal version from Genericperfumes.

Although it does smell a bit chemical, it is done in the right way as the chemical aroma makes it smell more camphorous (which is my favorite thing about Oud Wood in the first place).
