We start our journey at Masjid Jamek and learn how the city started. What better way to enjoy the day by sampling typical food that Malaysians enjoy at a local eatery? Wandering through small streets, we uncover the cultures of the Chinese and Indian communities who came to KL to make their fame and fortune. We also visit the oldest Chinese and Indian temple in KL to understand more about these communities. We had 2 group leaders. Wan for the first week was excellent and often went the extra mile to introduce us to Malaysia especially in KL. Nelson was also very good for the second week in Borneo, we would recommend both of the leaders. Advice for Potential Travellers

Living Bridges

If you have about 4 to 5 days in hand then Har ki Doon is the best trek to consider. This trek will take you through some remote village of Uttarakhand as you walk through snow covered Har ki Dun Valley; getting a stunning view of Swargrohini peaks and Jaundar Glacier.

As mentioned before P Leikul is the main village here which is around 64 KMs from Haflong, and 30 KMs from Mahur. If you are driving from Guwahati, you don’t even have to reach Haflong. You can get to Mahur and then take a diversion to P Leikul. Can I take a train for Tumjang Trek? On the first day they told us that they wanted to make this the best holiday ever, and then proceeded to do everything they possible could to make that happen. Lots of optional activities, sunset / sunrise trips, anything anyone asked for seemed to be possible. March is my own favourite moth for trekking, mornings tend to have blue skies and are often quite warm, cloud tends to build around the peaks about mid-day and drops into the valleys as the afternoon goes on with a chance of rain (snow at altitude) in the late afternoon / evening – Not as many trekkers about, so usually no problems finding a bed for the night and no huge queues for meals.
