Isla recommends aiming to make a meal that leaves you feeling satiated (comfortably full) and satisfied (hits the spot). 'Add in some different nutrients, but also textures or flavours to create a satisfying breakfast. I like creamy Greek yoghurt for calcium and protein, and frozen berries or bananas.' Dice the potato leaving the skin on. Place in a pan of boiling water on a medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until cooked.

For the chocolate dip, melt the chocolate gently in a pan then spoon over one half of each biscotti. Sprinkle the granola over the chocolate while it is still melted then allow to set for around 10 minutes until the chocolate is hard. In a bowl mix the crème fraiche, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a touch of any leftover parsley. Season with salt and pepper.Place fish cakes on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Drizzle over olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Put in the oven for 25 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove from the oven and, when cool enough to handle, use a serrated knife to slice into strips around 1-2 inch wide. You should get around 10 biscotti from the log.

Granola: a crunchy, chunky breakfast cereal (a bit like muesli) typically made from oats, nuts, seeds and dried fruit and served with Greek yoghurt and berries. You know the one. Flour a clean work surface and use your hands to bring the mixture together on the work surface into a small log, approx. 11 inches long and 3 inches wide. The morning staple has been pretty demonised over the years, with some studies citing high sugar and calorie levels as reasons to swerve it altogether. In a blender or food processor, blend 2 slices of wholemeal bread with 40g Lizi’s Low Sugar Granola, salt and pepper to make the breadcrumb coating. Place granola mixture into a bowl and set aside. So is granola healthy? Isa Robinson, registered associate nutritionist and nutritional therapist, thinks so, when enjoyed in moderation and as part of a balanced meal. She says: 'There's so much scaremongering around sugar. When you eat granola, you're often eating sugar alongside other ingredients, which means it also contains protein, healthy fats and fibre,' (think the oats, nuts and dried fruits we touched on above). This, she explains, reduces the glycemic index of the food (or rate at which glucose enters the blood stream, to help keep blood sugars more stable).Macronutrient wise, she says that most granola has a balance of wholegrains and slow release carbs from the oats, healthy fats and protein from the nuts and seeds, plus high levels of fibre.
