I don't like to leave a book without finishing reading it because that's how I am. A bookworm. It took me 4 months just to finish reading it and I have been tempted to just drop it and start reading a different book but I persisted. Auch die (wohl unbeabsichtigte) Respektlosigkeit der Autorin ist mir an manchen Stellen sauer aufgestoßen. Einmal sagt sie, sie wäre ja auch vor ihrer... ich nenne es mal "Erleuchtung"... nicht als "depressiver Miesepeter" durch die Welt gelaufen. Ich musste diese Stelle mehrfach lesen und konnte es trotzdem nicht glauben. Natürlich sind Menschen mit Depressionen keine "Miesepeter", sondern haben eine ernsthafte Erkrankung, die ernst genommen und behandelt gehört, schon allein weil sie unter Umständen tödlich enden kann! Als Betroffene, die leider schon allzu oft gehört hat, dass sie sich doch "nur mal zusammenreißen" muss, und "einfach mal ein bisschen fröhlicher sein" soll, hat mich das einfach besonders gestört. Aber das alles ist noch nicht mal mein größtes Problem mit dem Buch. Richtig raus war ich, als dieser ganze Eso-Kram anfing, von dem ich eigentlich gehofft hatte, dass er hier nicht stattfindet. Damit wird natürlich obendrauf noch in die typische Kerbe gehauen, die dieses Wort sowieso schon negativ besetzt, was ich ganz schlimm finde. I’m a bit of a dreamer myself I’m always up for the challenge of going after a dream and lots of my personal goals I’m really fortunate to have come true but not every dream I’ve chased has come true …many have fizzled out to nothing and others have just blatantly failed miserably😂 but I’m quite determined (stubborn some may say) and I totally believe everyone is worthy of achieving their dreams. Da ist die Rede von der Sonne, die durch die Sternzeichen läuft und ja, die Autorin sagt natürlich, dass die Sonne sich eigentlich nicht bewegt, sondern ein Fixstern ist. Allerdings wird in der Astrologie nun mal alles "von der Erde aus betrachtet". Was bedeutet, dass dieser Humbug die Wissenschaft ignoriert und im Prinzip überhaupt keine Bedeutung hat. Und wieder einmal: bitte nicht falsch verstehen. Ich habe nichts dagegen, wenn Menschen ihre Horoskope lesen und ihrem Sternzeichen eine große Bedeutung beimessen. Nach ihrer Devise sollen wir nun also für alles immer und jeder Zeit die volle Verantwortung übernehmen und dürfen keine "Ausreden" mehr finden, wie z.B. "die Trump-Regierung".
