The only way an opponent can defend their goats is if they play the same goat card again or a wild card. If the discard pile contains 5 or more goat cards at the time the Draw Pile becomes empty, then shuffle the remaining discard pile and continue drawing from it as the Draw Pile.The remainder of the cards can be placed face down in the center of the playing area, creating the Draw Pile.
