I've also found that the longer I've had the bottle, the less synthetic and astringent, and the more creamy and smooth it's become. Reminds me very strongly of Valentino Uomo (the first), but has a soft vanilla to soften Uomo's harshness. It opens with a bright cardamom note, which slowly blends with the iris and turns into a sweet-powdery, kind of dry scent.
