Description

Uniden UBC 125XLT is a quality handheld scanner in a stylish compact design that is made from robust materials. Uniden UBC 125XLT is designed for indoor and outdoor activities in the professional world. The programmed channels are grouped into 10 Banks with 50 channels in each. In this way Uniden UBC125XLT is very easy to use once the interesting frequencies are programmed. Uniden UBC 125XLT has Close Call and 10 preset frequency bands with e.g. Maritime, Air traffic, CB channels and PMR446 frequencies. This radio scanner also contains a wealth of opportunities to manually stop the scan, skip to the next active channel etc Afully featured scanner that can be used either mobile (12V) or homebase, it is supplied with both a 12v power lead and a mains transformer. The scanner has 9000 memories and optional GPS support. As least the mil air band's default steps are 12.5 so Close Call should latch onto 25 spaced channels. But again, the 320-400 segment is lumped in with 400-520, and there doesn't seem to be a Broadcast Screen like the 3500 has. So if you're hoping to Close Call for some PMR in the 420-470 region, you've got no way to avoid half the mil air band and huge signals from TV transmitters (470-520)!

Note this charger only comes with a 2 pin EU plug, so you will need to use it with a EU plugadapter (eg shaver adapter).Went for the Watson W-889 Tele-Gainer in the end, very similar to the 881, but telescopic, making it a bit more portable. Had to choose something, my head was spinning with all the options. May I suggest you retry my Scan125 program. ARC125 only supports the loading and saving of data. My program will do this and allow full control of the scanner as well. e.g. starting and stopping of scans, holding, step up, step down etc. etc. The BCT15X has Uniden exclusive features such as Advanced Dynamic Memory System, Close Call, and GPS support.

The frequency range of different models can range from less than 1MHz to over 2GHz, however the majority of scanners are designed to cover the VHF & UHF bands and typically cover from around 60MHz to 500MHz. Of course if you only have an old Serial port then you will need a serial to USB converter which will still enumerate as a COMn port and my program will happily work in this scenario.

Current Release - V3.6.0.0 - 01 August 2023

After installing the driver the scanner should be listed as either a BC125 or UBC125 in the Windows device manager. This indicates the driver was properly installed. After installing the driver the ARC125 software should recognize the scanner. FEATURES, FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS: • GPS Adapter Cable • Allows you to connect the BC-GPSK to your BCD325P2, SDS100 or SDS100E scanner's USB port... The Uniden SDS200E mobile/base scanner has the same features as the handheld version SDS100E, plus some extra enhancements. It is powered by either 12V from your car or using the supplied 12V mains adapter. Open / Save Group Profile option added to menu, allows pre-defined sets of frequency groups to be saved and loaded making updating even faster.
