The Service and your account are for your personal use only and may not be shared with any third parties. Provenance single cask single malts from Douglas Laing offer a taste of the hugely varied work of Scotland's whisky regions.

Fully matured in Bordeaux red wine casks, with layers of heather and pine cones, intertwining with woody sea salt leading to floral notes and lime pastilles. If you're using a VPN or proxy IP service, please turn it off and re-load this page to access our site. This first expression has been finished in hand selected Rioja casks in honour of the Spanish treasure buried deep off our shoreline. Auchentoshan is pronounced och[as in loch]-en-tosh-en and is derived from the Gaelic Achadh an Oisein - which translates as ‘corner of the field’. Another interestingly named distillery, deemed unpronounceable for non-Scots when first produced as a single malt, it's bottling name was changed to the Singelton. The Service, including any information contained therein, does not constitute any advice (such as but not limited to investment advice, tax advice, financial, economic advice) and is not intended as recommendations (whether personal, in general, or otherwise) to invest in companies, products, services. A wondrous union of sublimely spicy white pepper, the vibrant sweetness of liquorice and a kick of cloves with a exquisite lingering saltiness.

This 9 year old Ledaig single malt whisky, bottled in 2019, is one of 411 bottles aged exclusively in a refill hogshead. Opened this with a friend and we could barely hold a conversation as each time one of us took a sip we had to stop to say how good it was. Perhaps it's not as refined; however, the peat is less tamed by time in the barrel and retains an intensity rarely found in 18 year old scotch. We accept all forms of touring, outfits including single and twin axle caravans, fifth wheel caravan, folding caravans, motorhomes up to 12 meters, campervans and trailer tents. Originally however, the name of Ledaig was used for this Isle of Mull distillery when established in 1798 by John Sinclair.

Knockdu, pronounced knock-doo, is derived from the Scottish Gaelic Cnoc Dubh which translates as ‘Black Hill’, this was changed to AnCnoc to avoid confusion with Knockando Distillery which in turn means ‘The Hill’.

Distilled using scotch lovage, sugar kelp, lavender and samphire this salty, savoury gin makes a delicious dirty martini cocktail! It also makes superbly smoky single malt under the name of Ledaig (that name isn't simply a coincidence, by the way - Ledaig was one of the distillery's previous names! The Service has been prepared by us solely for information purposes to Members and the Service is based on information we consider reliable and we obtain the contents of the Service from a number of different third party sources (including Contributions), but we do not endorse, support, represent, warrant or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of the Services and any information therein. Rich, fruity sherried smokiness, lovely balance of phenols, seaweed and light creosote, dried chilli flakes, spicy black pepper with hints of sweet oakiness. Please read our Privacy Statement for more information on our use and processing of your personal information. We offer a large range of touring pitches with all of them having electric hook up points (10amp supply).

Using peated barley from the Port Ellen maltings (around 37 ppm if you're interested) this is a bold and punchy whisky that belies it's light and delicate appearance. The current buildings were constructed during that first period of occupation, [3] and were licensed in 1823.Distilled in 2005 and matured in a single sherry butt for 14 years before being bottled in February 2020. I dont want to say I am disappointed with this whisky, but it has now definitely less smoke and it is coloured. Palate: Grassy peat with sea breeze in tow, almond butter, lemon zest, biscuit dough, honeydew melon. This underrated single malt is pronounced Dall-Yewan, derives from the Gaelic An dail uaine meaning ‘green valley’ as the distillery is probably named after the lush valley in which it is located.
