Description

E11C has a flatter audio profile when compared to the V-shaped profile of the previous E10C. The soundstage is wide. There is emphasis on the mids and the treble is crisp. The bass is sharp and punchy but not deep, hence bassheads are not gonna love it. There’s one part of the E11C that seems a downgrade. SoundMagic usually includes a generous selection of tips with its earphones, with lots of sizes and dual-flanged pairs. Now you just get the standard three S/M/L sizes of silicone tips, plus a carry case.

SoundMAGIC E10C In Ear Isolating Earphones with Mic, Silver

The SoundMagic E11C have a less relaxed character than the E10C, but every characteristic that marks out sound quality in a speaker or headphone has been improved. Sound stage, separation, clarity, control and dynamics: all are great in this earphone, considering the price.Audio clarity is amazing and one can easily differentiate between the various instruments. At higher volumes sibilance is not observed which is a big strong point for E11C.

SoundMagic E80C review | What Hi-Fi? SoundMagic E80C review | What Hi-Fi?

These are exceptional for the money, and the new affordable choice for those looking to upgrade those bundled buds." Regardless, the SoundMagic E10C continue in this vein. However, I do quite like the use of metal earpieces. While they won’t stop the cable connection from deteriorating if not looked after, they’re far more likely to survive being trodden on than a cheap plastic earpiece. The build quality of E11C is still mediocre at best. Coming to the accessories, previously Soundmagic used to provide a clip, male/female audio cable, and 4-sets of silicone tips. All of these are missing with E11C except for 3-sets of silicone tips. Their visual impact could not be more different, though. I have recommended the SoundMagic E10 to countless people over the years, but I have never liked their paint jobs much. The entry-level models have a brash two-tone design that will look, to some, juvenile. There’s still nothing out there that can topple SoundMagic as the king of cheap headphones, but the E10C shows there’s still room for improvement – without hammering up the price. Now, what about the sound? Here SoundMAGIC had a difficult task; E10C was (already) so good, and one would naturally wonder how much improvement could take, while retaining about the same price tag. Of course, nowadays, good quality drivers and precise tuningcan give amazing results.
