Technical Specification (TS) 23.501 defines Stage-2 System Architecture for the 5G System which includes Network Slicing. Technical Specification (TS) 23.502 defines procedures for the 5G System. Technical Specification (TS) 23.503 defines Policy and Charging Control Framework for the 5G System. The work on these Technical Specifications is ongoing with target completion date being December 2017. Figure 1 depicts the non-roaming reference architecture. Figure 2 depicts an example of Network Slicing.
