When and how much notice you give will depend on whether you have a fixed term agreement and if your agreement says anything about giving notice. If you don’t have a fixed term or it has ended, then your landlord might be able to increase your rent if they give you notice. They’ll have to use a form called a ‘section 13 notice’ or ‘form 4’.
