You have just been extremely unlucky, or perhaps have abused the flex - that's what the 'intermitant' sounds like it could be. I bought one from Lidl on the basis that it looked the part and assuming that it is only used for rough work it would help my ageing arms. The thing barely cuts, with any blade, and has a kick like a mule making it impossible to start at the right point or hold the blade on line.

The saw also features adjustable cutting angles, allowing users to achieve the desired cutting depth and angle for their specific project. Its durable construction, adjustable cutting angles, and safety features make it a valuable tool for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. It's because with a D-handle jigsaw you generally need to apply downwards pressure to keep the baseplate on the material and when the blade is getting blunt or the material is uneven - such as cutting out in floors, etc - the pressure both downwards and forwards increases and the jigsaws take on a gentle slope at the front. We may do install work 3-4 times a year so rather than spending hundreds on a trade jigsaw, for occasional use I'd have thought that it may have been alright for that small use. The better your problem and question is described, the easier it is for other Parkside owners to provide you with a good answer. This saw makes light work of sawing through dead trees up to a certain size and the 2 amp batteries seem to last long enough to clear a good few fallen trees and branches that have become obstacles along the woodland paths before they run out of juice.

I've noticed this on quite a few other tradesmen's jigsaws as well (both metalworkers and woodworkers), so I know I'm not alone. Always at maximum power For flawless cordless working, our PARKSIDE X12V electric tools give you effortless control and ease of movement. Once loose, carefully remove the old blade and replace it with a new one, ensuring the teeth face in the correct cutting direction. and assume you mean trunking , Its fine for most wood working I have done as mentioned, I would never have tried on metal , it is after all a DIY tool , On odd occasion I need cordless , for heavy work , I just use my Industrial bosch , on an inverter connected to my van battery , clearly that does job as is a trade tool, and inverter allows use where no current available , you can free it from the van also by use the inverter , on a 12 volt mobile car starter , works for hours .I bought 2 - a garden multi-tool and a belt sander; both tools I used (tried) once and then took them back for a refund. Parkside Jigsaw Variable Speed 730W New In Case never been used have plugged in to mains to test and works fine, also a powerful machine with spare blade and parallel guide. I know of 5 people as well as myself that have bought this tool and I can safely say it is as good as any major brands on the market.

The Parkside PSSA 20-Li A1 also has a battery level indicator, enabling users to monitor the remaining battery life. With shed loads of tools and helpful accessories, no job’s too big…So, whether you’re a seasoned pro or a rookie…You got this! Now 'Workzone' kit at Aldi I've found to be a much better bet; interestingly a local (pro) tool emporium, nothing to do with Aldi's is selling Workzone kit as well. I note its an old thread, but as these are back in, I would like to say, I got one last time they were in, im ex trade, so used tool with care, and have built a wardrobe, and shelf's and many projects, not bends no problems, I would say you have two problems, and one you push a light duty tool to hard , to much forward pressure, probably as you say you boarding out loft, and the blade in picture is clearly a metal blade not a wood blade, which is probably why you push it to hard, metal blade to many small teeth , you need a coarse cut or cross cut, then you will hardly need to push it, with a coarse rip blade non stop one one cell i cut up 24 , 24 inch conti boards , and they were melamine coated , no probs tool barely warm !Short of getting it repaired, I might frame it in a glass case, as a salutary lesson on the perils of cheap tool purchases! However, now that I have experienced what I can only regard as a premature breakdown, I am having to re-assess just how wise it is to invest in tools that have little or no after sales service support. Introductions are limited to motor finance, CarMoney Limited will pay us a fixed commission per paid out deal. I might have been a heavy handed git (I don't think so) but if this is what approx 2 days and 1 battery discharge looks like. The reason why there was a metal cutting blade fitted is when I boarded my loft out, I fitted the loftzone kit ontop of the rafters to raise the height up 200mm.

From the little ones to the big ones, our PARKSIDE range puts the power into your hands to smash those jobs out of the park. BTW I've also had two body grip jigsaws (Metabo and Mafell) there the natural tendency is for the right hand to apply pressure downwards behind the blade and the baseplate "ski effect" doesn't seem to happen. It comes with a blade guard and a lock-off switch, preventing accidental starting and protecting the user from potential hazards. The saw is powerful enough to cut most thing to a diameter of a 100 mm easy, it starts to slow a bit with bigger longer blades.Possibility but I have been using my dads old mains Bosch for godknows how long and that's not bent. A lot of the pro dewalt/makita fan teams will probably say I told you so, what do you expect from Supermarket brands but the actual jigsaw itself wasn't bad at all. Also, having a speed control that can be pre-set instead of having a variable one built into the trigger would make my job easier. Some of our partners may process your data as a part of their legitimate business interest without asking for consent. I'm not annoyed its bent, I'm more annoyed it didn't live up to the build quality of the other cordless tools I have which are generally good for moderate use.
