Simple and stunning images tell the story of a cat named Spot as he weaves his way in and out of a city in this wordless picture book from award-winning author-illustrator Henry Cole. Doesn't matter if you have never ridden a Motorcycle or not, or if you only have a small interest, you won't be disapointed, go on give it a read. Award-winning author-illustrator Henry Cole soars to new heights in this stunning picture book about robins: their homes, their lives, and their families.

Founded by Cole in 1995, HCA Entertainment is an independent television production company, specialising in factual entertainment programmes that have appeared on ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Discovery and Quest in the UK. Henry Cole is on television most days of the year as the presenter of shows like Shed and Buried, Find It, Fix It, Flog It! In his new book, which is out next Thursday (17th September), Henry introduces the idea that a shed is a place to sit, a place to fettle and a place to stash, a spiritual refuge and a state of mind. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.

In this beautiful wordless picture book, Spot the cat finds a dog named Dot who’s off on her own adventure through the city! Confederate soldiers arrive on horseback and a farmer’s daughter’s lingering gaze betrays her intuition of their visit. An easy and quite inspiring read - and some lessons to be learned for us all during our short lives.Unspoken gifts of humanity unite the girl and the runaway as they each face a journey: one following the North Star, the other following her heart.

A Bikers Life is the dramatic, humorous and candid memoir of one of the most recognisable names in motorcycling.Moving and emotionally charged, the book is capped with a powerful close-up of the child's face on the rear cover with the legend “What would you do if you had the chance to help a person find freedom? If you think for what ever reason you don’t want to read about Henry Cole’s journey of life so far, think again. Unspoken encapsulates a little piece of American history in a profound way for 7-10 year olds, and gets the reader to ask themselves; ‘what is that person really thinking? The short time we owned a motorbike and side car make Henry's love of this mode of transport totally understandable.

He started as a news cameraman for channels including ITV and TF1 and progressed to making rockumentaries, primarily with heavy rock bands, [4] then directing TV commercials, and finally directing films, such as the semi-autobiographical Mad Dogs and Englishmen with Elizabeth Hurley. This jaunty and upbeat picture book from celebrated author-illustrator Henry Cole is perfect for back-to-school and all year round. He does contradict himself quite a lot,the second line in chapter one lines says how much he hates cars and dislikes driving them while the rest of the book tells of cars he's owned, and often loved, complete with pictures. There’s not a huge amount of depth; it’s a basic no frills blast through his life’s ups and downs but entertaining nonetheless. When you ride a motorbike you become part of a worldwide community of kindred spirits – those of us who will not be pacified by driving a car, but instead live for adventure, escape and the sheer thrill of the throttle”. My 8 year old and I read it together, slowly and carefully, drawn in by the characters’ expressions, and talking a little about the history.
