BLUE MOUNTAIN NO3-96%of all the beans to have a screen size 15/16 whilst containing no more than 2% defects. By selecting only coffee beans from the highest elevations we can be sure that the bean has matured more slowly, grown to a larger size and with more density to create a consistently great taste profile. Easily the best smelling coffee I've experienced, exquisitely smooth, it's like coffee nectar and an incredibly long cocoa finish. For those local to York, we have free local collection points throughout the city that are delivered on a Wednesday and Friday Morning.

Discover more about “Made in Italy”, a label synonymous throughout the world with refined materials, attention to detail, and creativity. In 1730, the then governor of Jamaica, Sir Nicholas Lawes, imported Arabica seedlings from the island of Martinique. The Blue Mountains of Jamaica are located between Kingston in the South and Port Antonio to the North. Some coffee brands, apparently cheaper, offer a product that contains only a millesimal quantity of Blue Mountain beans. As such, you can rest assured knowing that every cup of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee you have is of exceptional quality! ROASTING BETTER: We are unique in that we roast on a clean bed of air in small batches as opposed to conventional drum roasting - only 1% of coffee is roasted this way. In the late 18th century, coffee arabica varietals transported from Kenya and Ethiopia were planted and harvested in the Blue Mountain region of Jamaica, yielding a famously mild and balanced coffee.

We recommend grinding and drinking roasted whole beans within 2 to 5 months after packaging, and within 2 weeks after opening. Renowned throughout the world for it's incomparable standard of quality, Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee must meet stringent regulations and be grown under specific conditions. In addition to certification, which protects consumers from imitations, attention must also be paid to the concentration of Blue Mountain coffee beans in the blend. I have to say without exaggeration it is the best smelling, smoothest tasting, delicious cup of coffee I have had to date. Flamstead's natural conditions of even rainfall, excellent microclimate for coffee, and mist drenched slopes form the base for an excellent cup of coffee.Unlike traditional roasting, the chaff, the skin of the bean, that surrounds the raw bean is removed during the air process whilst in normal roasting this is burnt onto the bean. Caramel, toffee and butterscotch notes abound in a beautifully balanced coffee from the Latin American Centrals. All these factors combine to develop coffee with exceptional sweetness and aroma, rich flavour, and full body with mild acidity. but everyone I've served this coffee too has commented on it, and I can't find anything else I prefer.
