Description

Submersible pumps are robust, built to last products suitable for pumping dirty and clean water. They can be utilised in a number of different scenarios including flood water drainage, garden irrigation and creating waterfalls and fountains. There are many different types of water pumps, including submersible pumps, irrigation pumps and circulation pumps. Although all pumps operate differently, generally speaking, pumps can be divided into three main categories. There are the self-priming pumps, centrifugal pumps and underwater pumps. Do you have water problems? A basement, basin, tank or septic well that needs to be drained? Whether clean or waste water, a submersible pump provides an excellent solution. Garden water pump A central heating pump provides heating systems with (hot) water. Did you know that a standard central heating pump is responsible for 10% of your energy costs? Start saving up to 70% with our central heating pumps! Macerator pump

The power of the pump is also an important consideration. A more powerful pump will be able to deliver water at a higher pressure and through a longer hose. However, more powerful pumps tend to be more expensive, so it is essential to choose a pump that is appropriate for your needs. How to install a water butt pump

Garden water pump

A borehole pump is mainly used for irrigating gardens and lawns, but may also be used as a rainwater harvesting system. Due to its narrow diameter, a borehole pump can be placed in wells/sources with a diameter of approx. 10 cm. Central Heating / Circulation pump

You can find online water pumps with diverse performance, in terms of flow rate (capacity) and delivery head, which is the maximum distance water can be displaced to. Make sure to take a look at these technical information in the products' data sheets. A water butt pump is an electric pump that works by creating a vacuum that pulls the water up from the bottom of the water butt and pushes it through the hose. When you turn on the pump, the impeller (a rotating component of the pump) draws water through the inlet and expels it through the outlet at a higher pressure. The pressure can be adjusted depending on the type of nozzle used on the hose. Read on to see a detailed plan of how to set the system up. If you need to run a substantial watering system and don't have access to an external tap but do have access to electricity then you can run a watering system using a water butt pump. A water pressure pump is a self-priming pump and is often used for indoor pressure increase, as a rainwater harvesting system or for irrigating gardens and lawns. Depending on the water requirement, a water pressure pump automatically switches on or off. Borehole pump

The macerator pump can be placed directly behind the toilet and can therefore operate independently of existing pipes and drainage connections. Ideal for moving waste water to a higher point. Sewage pumping station The flow control valve (shown bottom right) isn't strictly a dripper but as it's adjustable it is ideal for use with low pressure as the valve can be opened right up so that there is little resistance.
