unfortunately though, I didn’t make it too far into the story because of the content and the YA theme. Anyway, it's not Glyndon's fault that this toxic stan became obsessed with a ship that Rina Kent herself denied in the first place. I quite enjoy Rina's book and I don't have a ton of strong opinions about second-generation books, but here we are diving right in. Because if you don’t like reading about this kind of guy, then you shouldn’t be reading Rina Kent books. The immortal rocks didn't agree to the whole 'unassuming witnesses of crimson blood and lost life' ordeal, but whatever.

Seeing my favorite bunch of characters as parents and all in their mature broody glory was like a dream come true for me.I’m absolutely curious as to who will be paired up with who in future books, I’m really really anticipating all their books. What can I say, it’s fine, but defo won’t read again and I doubt I’d read anything by the same author again. Of course, medical conditions cannot be seen as one prototype and of course everything matters from upbringing to education and so on, but Killian felt like a very toxic kid who is thinking that he is a psychopath more than a real one. From the moment they meet at the edge of the cliff to the end of the book, everything these two feel about each other is either indecisive, toxic or annoying as hell.

I have read the epilogue chapters in the nightingale anthology and it was mentioned that Killian was different. I could relate to both FMC in her attempt to figure out who she was vs who she’s just acted like and the MMC who knows he’s not like everyone else and gave up trying to accept anyone would accept him without bowing to social norms. Now, despite Killian's less-than-heroic behavior, the novel stands firm in its genre – DARK ROMANCE.as far as the plot goes, it didn’t really exist and what there was, wasn’t anything too interesting to be honest. The story lacked plot and was 15 hrs of reading about their family tree and setting up story lines for the rest of the series. The strength of the narrative lies not only in the unconventional characters but also in the relationship among them. aggressive behaviour (fighting creigh and almost beating him to death, and his role in the hunt which was to literally beat people with a baseball bat).

I love a good dark romance as well as the twisted, dark, alpha, anti heroes that go along with them. Not another fucking bitch in the parody of a dark romance confessing to always having fantasies about being forced to have sex.His character was fascinating and yet, also kept me on the edge of my seat never knowing exactly what he was going to do. after 50% into the book, it gradually lost my attention and i just skimmed through it so i would give it a maximum of two stars or just one i don‘t know.
