For more information about the removal, post-mortem and culture process for bTB test positive cattle, you can go to: For Broadband Unlimited customers, taking Essential or Sport: as you will not have sufficient line quality and speed, content is only available in standard definition. NOW Membership will only be available to watch via the app on your set-top-box and compatible devices and not through the electronic programme guide. You can only watch/record one sport channel at any given time. Bovine TB (bTB) is a notifiable disease in the UK caused by Mycobacterium bovis. Disease can be carried and spread by a variety of other species including badgers, deer, alpacas, llamas, goats, cats and dogs, and it is also a zoonosis (humans can be infected). BT is our flagship business brand, serving commercial companies and public sector organisations across the UK and globally. Our teams are trusted by everyone from the NHS and FTSE-100 brands to SMES and high street shops to help them navigate the ever-changing world of technology.

Slaughterhouse surveillance is also used. Post mortem examination is carried out on all cattle slaughtered as TB reactors (either on SICCT or Gamma Interferon tests) and samples are collected for culture or genotype testing. Routine meat inspection may also identify suspicious lesions which are then tested for bTB.We will agree a date and timeslot with you for the service. If there is a delay in performing the service for reasons outside of our control then we will let you know and take steps to reduce the delay. We will not be liable to you for such delays. Please note that Reward cards can also be referred to as BT Reward cards – they are the same thing. Your spend cap is for data, minutes or texts beyond your plan’s monthly allowance, you can set a limit on what you spend. Any add-ons you buy won’t count towards the spend cap and you’ll get separate one-off or monthly charges for these. It is not always possible to find visible lesions, or culture the bacterium, in infected animals particularly if the lesions are too small to see. Furthermore, although visible lesions of bTB are usually found in the respiratory tract and associated lymph nodes, their location can vary depending on the route of infection into the animal. The size and number of visible lesions (if present) can also vary and is not always correlated with the length of time an animal might have been infected. It is caused by Mycobacterium bovis, a bacterium which can also infect and cause disease in badgers, deer, goats, pigs and camelids (such as llamas and alpacas), as well as many other mammals.

We work with Openreach to provide installation services if you require a new phone line, and for specific technology changes that require work outside of your property (e.g. Full Fibre). A UK Add-On covers minutes or data used over your inclusive plan allowance, up to the allowance for that Add-On, from your last BT Mobile bill until your next one. (So if you buy a 500MB Add-On 10 days before the date of your next bill, it'll cover the data you use for those days and the previous 20). The add-on renews automatically every month on the date you get your BT Mobile bill, unless you cancel it. Ensure slurry is stored for 6 months before spreading, or leave a gap of at least 2 months between spreading slurry and grazing cattle on the land. This is followed either by a thorough post-mortem examination (PME) undertaken by APHA, or in the event that the positive animal goes to an abattoir, meat inspectors will undertake a post-mortem meat inspection (PMMI). Where necessary, APHA may carry out further testing through laboratory culture of tissue samples collected at PME or PMMI to identify the causative bacterium.c. there must be a responsible adult present in your home. Where this person is not you, it must be someone authorised by you to make decisions regarding the location and installation of equipment. You have a total of 60 days to return your items, and which includes the time taken for us to send out a jiffy bag. World-leading bovine tuberculosis (bTB) TB cattle vaccination trials are set to get underway in England and Wales as a result of a major breakthrough by government scientists. Isolate any animals identified as reactors or IRs until they are removed for slaughter or retested. NB bTB can be spread by aerosolisation, so a separate air space is required for effective disease control.

If bTB is detected on your farm, it is important to take all reasonable biocontainment measures to ensure that the infection does not spread to uninfected cattle on the holding.

Your EE mobile contract will be with EE Ltd. Your BT Broadband contract is with BT Plc and is unaffected.
