Description
Gavin was the sweetest! I loved how he loved Whitley just as she was through it all. Whitley will remain one of my favorite romance heroines, I truly understood her fear of being vulnerable and in love. Everything made perfect sense considering her upbringing, and her personality and I knew that things needed to reach a pivotal point. Are you, Elsa? Because I was never supposed to like you this much. Hell. I wasn’t supposed to think about you more than I think of myself.” The only thing I found cute in all of this was when he’d tap her nose twice and be all condescending (lol). And that’s it. This is my first time reading this author and this book definitely didn’t disappoint. This book had me at fake fiancé.I can’t wait to read more from this author. I had to confess that Highschool Bully romance is starting to get boring and everything is starting to look the same, in my opinion... Which means that the author really have to work hard to be able to excel in this trope.
PDF / EPUB File Name: Cruel_King__A_Dark_New_Adult_Romance_-_Rina_Kent.pdf, Cruel_King__A_Dark_New_Adult_Romance_-_Rina_Kent.epub Although his touch and dirty words are maddening, it’s the look in his eyes that make me want to free fall to sin.CRUEL KING is a story of secrets and lies, passion and understanding, forgiveness and love. The premise is entertaining and satisfying; the romance is provocative and intense; the characters are numerous and charismatic. and can we talk about Kimberly (h bff) and Xander's (H bff) history? i bet you they used to be childhood best friends but something happened so Xander became her "bully". im getting a Jared and Tate vibes and im all for that. i think im more intrigued with their relationship and story to be honest. When Gavin needs a fake girlfriend to take to his cousins wedding, Whitley steps up. It’s easy to pretend because she knows him so well but pretending is all it can be. Yet, Whitley and Gavin have sizzling chemistry from the get go so when you put these two together as a fake couple, things don’t look fake. It’s easy because it’s not real. Then, her family throws them a curve ball and everything changes. On her first day at Royal Elite School Elsa meets Kim, a girl who is sneaking around the edge of the crowd of students and she figures that Kim is a girl like her, who just wants to keep her head down and get through high school so she can get into a good college. They become immediate friends. Then she sees Aiden on the field with his friends. She meets his eyes and can’t look away. He then comes up to her and tells her that he will destroy her.
Whitley was such a boss and I loved how unapologetically herself she was. Gavin was such a fun character and my favorite hero of this series, after Camden Percy of course. My favorite part of this book was how much Gavin loved Whit for who she was. He never tried to tame her or change her, he just loved her for her. Push/Pull: Yes They both push away at times, but I'd say the H is the main pursuer of the relationship. The problem is that Levi was involved in some way and wants her to drop the investigation into the hit and run. So he begins to bully her, when before he had never known she existed. Astrid liked being invisible and doesn’t want that to change, but when the most popular guy in school pays attention to you, it is difficult to be invisible. With recent releases like Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West, a relatively understated release like this might have flown under your radar. You might be familiar with The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince though. It’s not a direct prequel to The Cruel King and the Great Hero, but with the same developers and storybook-esque aesthetic, there are some similarities. It’s a brand-new story, but chances are, if you liked the former, you’ll probably like this game. Aiden literally threatens to assault Elsa because she calls him 'Aiden' and not 'King.' This is so extra I can't.Safety: This one is probably either Safe with exception or Not Safe for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences. A new stand alone fake relationship romance set in the glitz and glamour of the Cruel world from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde...
