provide quality assured assessment that meets the requirements of the DAO for those people identified as being responsible for internal quality assurance (IQA) Synoptic - To study a topic synoptically is to ‘afford a comprehensive mental view’, ie to consider all perspectives and factors contributing to the complexity of reality. Synoptic assessment, therefore, is ‘a form of assessment which tests candidates’ understanding of connections between different elements of a subject’. The support I received from Chris was outstanding, I would recommend anyone to study with this course provider :) For individuals who have already achieved some Learning and Development units that can be carried forward into this qualification

To be awarded this qualification the candidate must achieve a total of 12 credits as shown in the table(s) below. The aim of this unit is to assess a learner’s understanding of how to facilitate learning and development for individuals.Since the beginning of the pandemic, the ETF has issued mitigations with respect to the main teaching and assessment qualifications in the FE & Skills sector. This has enabled the wholesale continuation of delivery of these qualifications during the period of disruption. Whilst there still exists a high prevalence of Covid-19 nationwide, the majority of the economy has resumed most of its normal functions. It is therefore inappropriate that the ETF should continue to issue blanket mitigations for qualifications, and therefore all mitigations regarding these qualifications ceased from 1 September 2022. I would definitely recommend CTC courses and I am so happy I passed the course, it has motivated me to carry on with my teaching plans in the near future. This qualification was previously known as PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector). However, the PTLLS online training course is now known as Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) and can be followed up with levels 4 and 5 if you wish to extend your knowledge beyond this foundation level.
