Description

Microphone inputs (XLR) are equipped with DNA preamps. Switchable phantom power allows for the use of any type of microphone. Select mic channels offer dynamic compression, each with individual control. Those compressors on the first two channels have just one knob each for ‘more or less’ compression, with an amber LED giving an indication of how much compression is being applied — similar to the system used on some Yamaha mixers. There’s a headphone outlet with its own level control, and for controlling the channel and master levels there are 60mm faders rather than the rotary pots typically found on compact mixers. There's also premium 24-bit Alesis effects - ideal for any mixing situation. Over 100 DSP effects are available at your fingertips: from its delay to its reverb; its flanger to its chorus - you won't find anything is missing. And with a range of presets, get started with any of the effects with ease. Let’s get your live sets sounding professional and clean with the best analog mixer for live sound. You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail.

We all know that there’s an endless debate about the advantages and disadvantages of analog over digital gear, but let us reassure you that this doesn’t apply to the mixing desks, at least to conventional ones. The thing is, there’s a huge difference between a vintage REDD console and a modern analog mixer.High-Quality Alesis DSP Effects Live 802 comes ready to handle any mixing situation with premium 24-bit Alesis effects built right into its design. What is truly impressive about Alto Professional Live 802 is that apart from mixing symphonic orchestras, there’s absolutely nothing you can’t do with it. It’s a workhorse of a mixer on which you can rely in any given situation. Although we should mention that it’s rather bulky for a 10-channel mixer, so traveling with it might be a bit challenging. Bottomline The first two can be switched direct to the main output or to a 'cue' buss and, with a corresponding selector on the control room level, you can route them to your control room without impacting the main outputs.

What we think If vintage consoles are valued first and foremost for their coloration, modern analog mixers, on the contrary, tend to sound extremely transparent and clean. So when it comes to the difference between digital and analog mixers, especially when it comes to live sound, we are clearly talking about functionality because they usually tend to sound very identical. I've not yet explored the full range of functions offered by the 802. I play in a duo and run two mics and two acoustic/electric guitars through the mixer. The sound is crystal clear. All of the effects sound good in my living room, but to this point, the only effects I've sampled in a playing situation and at volume, are a few of the reverb plus delay settings & a couple of the plate reverbs. Once I dialed in a setting that sounded good in the room, I let well enough alone. The quality of the effects themselves are to my ear, top notch.
