Blinder" was a familiar Birmingham slang term (still used today) to describe something or someone of dapper appearance. Where it really earns it's five stars is EVERY major cast member is given a full 10 to 12 pages to talk about their character (yes, including Cillian) so you really get the actors' insight and incredibly BEAUTIFUL photos adorn every page.An interesting account of the real life peaky blinders and the slogging gangs of late 19th and early 20th Century Birmingham, with an eye opener to the true crimes and power struggles of illegal betting and protection rackets.
