Description

Each box will provide enough conversion bits for many other armies and since you will need plenty of Daemonettes and Seekers you will most likely buy many of these boxes. The mounted version is also a wizard, this time his death would bring only 8 depravity points and it costs 15 to summon the hero and 12 the simple unit.

True Child of Slaanesh –Each Hero phase roll 6 dice, gain a DP for each 5+. That’s roughly 2 each turn which isn’t a lot especially as the price inflation made it even less useful than before. C Contents: 1 Master of Possession (HQ), 10 Chaos Space Marines (Troops), 2 Greater Possessed (Elites), 1 Venomcrawler (Heavy Support), 2 Obliterators (Heavy Support)

Summary

Best of the Best –Reroll wound rolls of 1 while this General is within 6″ of a friendly Slaanesh Hero. A good trait, save for not being allowed to be within 12″ of one of the “secondary” Generals meaning you have to have a fourth Hero around. In many other armies this would be a big ask but in Slaanesh it’s a lot more reasonable B+ We use DHL for our main courier. The delivery guide for this is next working day to 2 working days. The longer period is for areas such as the Highlands and Islands of the UK. a set of 5 Seekers of Slaanesh, featuring ten different Daemonette heads, two different Slaanesh icons, and a host of other optional components; One of the nice things about Militarum Tempestus being 4 units in 3 kits is that you get all of them right here in this box. Like the generic Militarum set this comes with the plastic Commissar (a bit like Tech-priests Dominus in Ad Mech, if you have any interest in buying Tempestus at all you will end up drowning in these guys), but also two squads of Scions and a Taurox. Squads of Scions and Tauroxes are pretty much all there is to have for the Tempestus, and the Scion kit is a dual one which lets you build the Tempestor Prime and a Command Squad too, and is full of cool bits. If you want to get some Scions on the table there’s basically no better way to do it than this – turn the Commissars into terrain statues or convert them into other things.

Contents: 1 Great Bray-Shaman (Hero), 10 x Ungors (Battleline) / Ungor Raiders, 10 x Bestigors (Battleline with Bray-Shaman or Beastlord General) and 1 x Cygor (Behemoth) / Ghorgon (Behemoth)At the start of the battle, if your Daemon and Mortal units are equal to each other gain D3 command points. If they are equal and you have more than 12 units, gain D6 Syll’Esskan counts as 2 units. While you probably won’t hit 12 units, particularly with the price hike, this is pretty nuts. Deadly Symbiosis Pretenders are the followers of Slaanesh who’ve decided that in the Prince’s absence, they will attempt to take their throne instead. As such its functions almost as a mirror to Invaders in playstyle. Instead of having multiple generals you get one superior one. If you run the Bray-Shaman as your General and build the Ungors as regular Ungors, you’ll get another legal list from this box as he will turn your Bestigors into Battleline giving you the required Hero and 2 Battleline again. Ungor Raiders however are one of the few ranged units available to Chaos and certainly to Beasts of Chaos in particular so if you want to do anything in the shooting phase you might want to build them as Raiders. The Carnosaur can be built in different ways with one option giving you a foot mounted Hero and a separate Carnosaur, built this way you’ll get 2 x Battleline units and a Hero at approximately 500pts and a great way to start playing with Seraphon. Tech-priest Dominuses have fallen out of favor recently, which is a shame because Ad Mech still field Vanguard and Rangers on a regular basis to fill out Battalions and the Dunecrawler is a legitimately good unit that sees lots of competitive play. It’s still a great boxed set to start building off of, but some of the savings are mitigated by the fact that you probably won’t want a Tech-Priest Dominus in your army.

We’ll be honest: of all the 40k armies to collect, Chaos Daemons are among the more expensive and troublesome to get going with at the moment.

Bringing it to Matched Play

Contents: 1 Exalted Seeker Chariot of Slaanesh (Hero), 10 x Daemonettes of Slaanesh (Batteline), 5 x Seekers of Slaanesh The Greater Daemons of Slaanesh take the form of the Keepers of Secrets: towering, bull-headed, crab-clawed humanoidchimeras giving off vibes that are 50% satin boudoir, 50% sadistic slaughter.
