Description

Autoglym's Intensive Tar Remover dissolves a wide variety of contaminants, allowing them to be washed away in the normal washing procedure. The product can also be used on your car interior, treating oil-based interior stains found on synthetic carpets & upholstery. The car was cleaned first to make it more effective so the tar remover was applied directly to the panels section by section. This was then allowed to dwell before wiping off with a microfibre towel whetted with the product as well. The Intensive Tar Remover really does make short work of the tar spots that are on the car. After just under a minute of having applied it to the paint work, the tar deposits were washed away with ease.

If you are cleaning the rest of the car then you can wash the car while leaving the soaked areas until last. Then using your wash mitt, gently agitate the affected areas. However don’t be over zealous as it can lead to scratching the finish. Tar deposits are a constant threat to your vehicle's paintwork, leaving it bumpy to the touch and potentially causing permanent staining. Another popular formula is the Gtechniq W7, which is suitable for removing tar and glue residue upon most surfaces. Intensive Tar Remover Results Car Gods Perseus did a better job once repeated but still took a bit longer than claimed to remove the tar. A total of 4 applications was required to remove the marks but it did eventually work. Not worthy of the heroic title it’s given and the bigger brands performed a lot better and for less money. One cause of concern for many when it comes to using a tar remover is the fact that it may end up causing damage to any LSP (last stage of protection) that is on the car. I am glad to say that when it comes to Autoglym Ultra HD Wax, the tar remover did not cause any visible degradation.

Overall, the Car Gods 54 formula is an easy to use tar remover for cars that comes in a large 500 ml bottle and easily clears even the most stubborn of deposits. A: Fallout is a term applied to any contamination that becomes bonded to your paint, although we will be talking about bonded iron contamination in this article. Over time iron contamination builds up on external surfaces causing them to feel rough. This roughness will eventually effect the way light is reflected from the paintwork which results in a reduction in paintwork gloss. The embedded iron contamination will also begin to rust over time. Owners of white cars may see a collection of tiny orange dots on their paint, that they cannot wash or polish away. This is iron fallout starting to oxidise. However, had the wax been on for several months, it could very well be the case that the tar remover would help speed up the degradation process. I certainly would not recommend using this to strip any old wax from the car though. It would not be economical to do this. It could also have damaging effects to it as well.
