Choose from 4 different decks, featuring all new art from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth and each containing 20 never-before-seen Commander cards. These are the rarest cards in these boosters and will likely be pretty valuable, especially for cards like Ancient Tomb. The Middle-earth Ultimate Collector’s Edition includes 31 Blu-ray discs’ worth of content, including 4K HDR versions of all six films, their theatrical cuts, and their extended editions. The West of Middle-earth at the End of the Third Age’ (1980 Unfinished Tales map), small-scale key plus 4 sections. The Lord of the Rings has two versions: the original version included in the first edition of 1954–55 and the Ace Books pirate edition of 1965, and the 1965 revised version which incorporates a number of authorial changes and a new Foreword.
One volume for each book, plus a seventh for appendices, with volume titles based on Tolkien’s original book-title suggestions. These special edition collector boosters are 15-card packs containing new treatments of cards from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth, as well as a few brand new cards. Editorial emendations, such as the handful of alterations and many corrections made for the 2004 ‘50th Anniversary Edition’ releases and the additional corrections made for the 2014 ‘60th Anniversary Edition’ releases, are described as such and do not constitute new versions. First authorised paperback release, rush-issued with 1965 revisions to re-assert US copyright claim after release of unauthorized Ace Books 1965 mass-market paperback edition.
