Cooking on the griddle was good, taste wise it was awesome. Cooking on the gas burner in a pan was so easy. 6 minutes from lighting it to eating the burger, I think all my burgers will be done this way in future!I had a feeling this might flare up a bit due to the sugar in the maple syrup and the fat in the pork. It was a bit of a battle avoiding big flare ups, I should have let the charcoal burn through a bit more before I started cooking but I am in impatient cook! It came out well in the end. At 22 cm in height, it is the perfect size to fit on a table. Corner protectors on the base plate prevent scratching of delicate surfaces, and the edges are bent inwards to minimize sharp edges. Thuros T1 tabletop BBQ is compact and ideal for at-home grilling or an on-the-go picnic. Four corner protectors give it stability meaning it can sit on any surface, and the bottom grill has been designed to prevent too much heat building underneath. I noticed in my last cook my T1 was looking a bit grimy, time for me to find out about cleaning the Thuros T1! First cook on the new Napoleon Prestige Pro 825 (Beast!). I have been after a powerful gas burner outside for a long time so I can cook more Chinese dishes in a wok. This is handy as you can flip the cast iron over and use a flat base pan as well.

Door on, chimney cap 3/4 off to heat up and reheat stone. Gas down to low for pizza cook then full power for the final stages of the pizza cook. The dough was quite hard to stretch to start with, it was a mistake to take it straight out of the fridge. It works well with the dough from the Pizza Bible but the Ooni dough recipe needs a nice rest at room temperature so it’s easier to stretch. As the cook went on the dough was getting easier to work with. At 165g the dough balls are quite small, I would try these again with bigger dough balls to get some bigger pizzas. Gas was a lot easier for cooking this amount of pizzas, I left it burning whilst I ate my pizza part way through the cook which you might not do on pellets! I was a bit nervous cooking this as it’s not a cheap bit of meat so I was going to cook it on the Kamado Joe Big Joe which is easy to regulate the heat on but felt I should cook it on the kettle which more people have. I seared it to start then moved it to indirect heat to slowly cook.With so many tests to run I made a double batch of the Ooni dough and cold proved it for 48 hours. The Ingredients: You will have seen plenty of pictures of the T1 grill and some folk will be wondering “What is the Thuros T1?”. To prepare and grill tasty meat and/ or vegetable shish kebab is as easy as pie with this functional as well as nice-looking skewer attachment.
