As of now, I have the entire opulent line,and here's what I will say. Out of ALL of them, I feel like this will be the most mass appealing to men. This definitely leans more masculine. This feels very fresh, clean, aquatic and almost a shaving cream/after shave type of smell. I have been avoiding Arabian Oud scents, since I am from the middle east and it smells like every mosque ever. But one day, I wanted to get something that had Oud in it and thought Lattafa will be a good way to start since they’re affordable, right? I got this a week ago, and let me tell you I can’t stop wearing it ever since! I don’t if it’s bec it’s winter, or am I really starting to like middle eastern scents and it’s my new thing maybe, but this is really amazing and worth the try! Longevity is good on me, lasts through a workday, i can smell it even after 10 hours on myself after a sweaty and super hot summer day. My Advice: If you are not familiar with oud scents, do buy them only after trying them; I recommend Lattafa's "Blue Oud" to ALL oriental fragrance lovers due to its singularity of being semi-fresh. If you really like oriental woody fragrances, you don't even need to try it before buying it. I do believe this fragrance will conquer you with its uniqueness.

I don't have any doubts that I get a different scent on the opening - fresh and very spicy - while it gets woodier on the base. At the top, the fragrance projects more and it's harsher than in the base. Actually, the woody scents - radiant cashmere and animal oud - kind of melt into a single very agreeable oriental woody scent in the dry down. The woody notes are really wearable and agreeable. There is some fresh subtleness associated with the fragrance's woody strength that makes you really enjoy this perfume. Anyway, upon opening, you are bombarded with the cinnamon bark and saffron. I hated it for the first 10 seconds, it was leaning medicinal on me. The opening is very sharp and off putting. But… give it a chance to calm down and that medicinal smell will fade. This to me is the absolute best oud-centric fragrance you can buy, and it's astounding how cheap it is. I honestly think this smells nicer and more expensive than Ombre Nomade. Not that this is a clone of it or anything, but that is often seen as the king of oud-forward scents so I usually compare them to that.

Sweet OUD & (SANDAL)WOOD-PATCHOULI with amazing drydown. Opens with a floral-citrus burst with patchouli, saffron & oud touches, that deepens into a caramel & amber-oud heart, all resting on a musky amber-wood base with vanilla & patchouli touches. Overall, I get a sweet oud with faint patchouli touches in the opening with a creamy sweet oud heart on a spicy-sweet & creamy (sandal)wood-patchouli base that's to die for. The drydown reminds me of other sandalwood-patchouli drydowns, although sandalwood isn't specifically listed in the notes. Fantastic performance, that might be difficult to wear in the summer heat.

With the heart notes I get a faint animalistic nuance and some spices -residual pepper and emerging vanilla probably, thus originating a light sweet touch. Besides the woody accords, herbs are also detectable in the heart stage. In the base, the more vibrant cashemearan woody scent is overcome by the stronger oud note. Uniqueness: 9.0 (Quite unique and enjoyable for an oriental woody fragrance due to its somewhat easy-to-perceive "blueness") This to me is a patchouli, saffron, rose, oud and SANDALwood fragrance. I'm thinking the intersection of this supposed saffron-patchouli-sandalwood is giving the illusion of some cinnamon as well. Ultimately, this is an amazing rose oud scent (on the jammy, woody side) for the money, and I highly recommend it for lovers of niche scents. I'll start off by saying im perplexed at others labeling this as aquatic and comparing it to Invictus / Lattafa Najdia (which i own) because i don't find the same qualities here AT ALL. Goes to show how different our perceptions are yet again.
