NOTE:- I DID NOT AND BMW DO NOT FIT AN INLINE SWITCH WITH THESE LIGHTS AS THEY COME ON WITH YOUR HIGH BEAM WHEN IN POOR VISIBILITY! BUT SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO HAVE THEM ON WHEN STATIONARY ETC SO HAVE AN INLINE SWITCH TO DO THIS. Our selection of Mini spotlights and accessories is only a small part of our electrical and lighting department – as part of our range, we will have everything you need to repair, restore or to customise your Mini with. As world-leading classic Mini specialists here at Mini Sport, we are pleased to be able to bring you a wide range of spotlights, lamps and their accessories. A Wide Range of Mini Spotlights and Accessories

Nev suggests that wiring them into the main beam is convenient for spot lamps, it is more than that it's the law! Any auxiliary main beam lamps must be switched off by the dip switch. As said above front fogs should be wired so that they can be used when the weather is bad. If they are wired so they can be on independantly of the dipped lamps, they must be positioned on the vehicle as dipped lamps would be (within 400mm of the outside edge etc.). If they have been fitted in the middle, and are fog lamps, you should wire them so that they can only be on while the main light switch is on and then have their own switch as well. It's also a good idea to wire them so they can only be on while the rear fog is on, as this should be on long before front fogs. When fitting any extra lamps, relays and new circuits must be added as none of the original wiring can cope (except on MPi cars that are pre-wired for additional lamps). When cutting all the wires to length place the relay in the position that you will keep it and then measure the wire length from there! i placed it behind the right headlight. Plus, you’ll be able to find Mini lamp lens’, bulbs, cables and much more – please do browse our selection of Mini spotlights and their accessories to see more. Get In Touch! Driving Lamps and Fog Lamps – Give your car the ability to light the way in the dark or the mist, with our high quality driving lamps. Available in a range of styles to match the aesthetics of all models of the Mini, you will be able to abide by your legal requirements and fully immerse yourself in a true Mini driving experience. All the wiring will be kept near to the front of the car, so find an area on the inner wing at the drivers side (assuming a RHD car) near to the front to mount your relay(s). Once you have decided where you are mounting the relay you are able to cut wires to the right length. The E mark on the lens will tell you what they are. Above the E11 mark that means it's a UK spec lamp, it will have a square with B if it's a front fog lamp or HR if it's a halogen main beam of any kind (driving, spot, etc.). It may also say PL for plastic lens if it has one. Providing the driver with the ability to see in dark, overcast or foggy conditions, the importance of fully functioning Mini spotlights simply cannot be overlooked. Whether you’re using your Mini to participate in competition or simply want to use it as an everyday or irregular runner, working spotlights will help to ensure safety for the passengers and pedestrians, as well as for the driver. Firstly, mount the spot lights to the car, this will allow you to cut the wires to the correct length so you don't end up with loads of spare wire, or not enough.

Connect a wire from terminal 30 to the positive of your battery use an inline fuse anywhere between this, preferably one with a blade type fuse which is the same ass all the fuses in your car! 15AMP Minimum. Connect 2 wires from terminal 87 using one (1) spade connector, one to each light ( if you use one wire and fit both lights to it then one of the lights will come on first then the second! )
