Description

Stoli is made from Russian wheat and rye and boasts a smooth, clean flavor profile with distinct notes of citrus at the end. What makes Russian brands better is they use old-fashioned production processes and rich ingredients that improve the quality of the spirit. We enjoyed the neat vodka; it is one of the best creamy, smooth, and spotless vodkas we have ever had. 8. Mamont Siberian Vodka

One of the most prestigious Russian vodkas on the market, Beluga Noble is now available in a spectacular Night edition with a light-up limited-edition bottle which is a work of art in itself. Beyond this, the vodka is fairly simple, with not a lot of additional characteristics to be discovered. That isn’t altogether a bad thing, as vodka is supposed to be “neutral”— but if your tastes err toward the sweeter side of life, and you have a bit of money to burn, Beluga Noble is worth a shot. (Note: Do not confuse this with Beluga Gold Vodka, an even more upscale bottling, not reviewed here.) Since its establishment in 2002, Beluga Vodka has been produced at the legendary Mariinsk Distillery in Russia’s most secluded and environmentally pristine region. The juice reflects the decadence of the bottle, the creamy and subtle sweetness of Beluga Noble, blended with natural ingredients sourced and distilled deep in untouched Siberia. Starting with spring water sourced from a well 300m deep, Beluga Noble is then filtered three times with a unique mix of natural ingredients: honey, oatmeal and milk thistle. The palate has a good structure, is warm, well balanced in the game between spicy, peppery tones and an underlying freshness, which keeps the taste always interesting. Overall it is dry, smooth, but the addition of honey makes it very soft and easy to drink.

The vodka is made from the finest white winter wheat, six times distilled for purity and crispiness. We have concerns about potential links between the beneficial owner of this product and Vladimir Putin and his war on Ukraine. As part of our research, we have reached out to the beneficial owner to clarify their position, and have yet to receive a response.

Spirits review: Grey Goose vodka characteristics, price and tasting notes of the famous French vodka Why We Like It: Mamont Siberian Vodka caught our attention because of its mammoth tusk-shaped vessel that you will not find in other vodka brands. Beluga Noble Russian Vodka «The Rum Howler Blog". therumhowlerblog.com. 22 November 2012 . Retrieved 2018-04-11. Very loosely we may put my scores into terms that you may be familiar with on a Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal scale as follows: The final product is a bit sweet and has rich flavor notes of orange peel, white pepper, vanilla, wheat, and rye.Beluga hails from Russia, but beyond this there’s plenty about its production that remains rather mysterious. It is distilled from grain in Western Siberian distillery founded in 1900, filtered through quartz sand and silver, and cut with water from a Siberian spring. The company says it is distinguished “by using a preciously calibrated distillation ritual, which gives its vodka a pure enrichment of high quality taste.” Also of note: It’s a straight vodka, but it includes a few additives, apparently in small proportions, including honey, oat extract, and Silybum marianum extract (you know it as the milk thistle). More on that later. Interestingly enough, Beluga vodka also contains other special ingredients (in extremely small quantities) such as honey, oat extract, and Silybum Marianum (milk thistle) extract. The addition of minute quantities of special ingredients is consistent with what I know of traditional European production methods where each distilled vodka has its own recipe and its own special ingredients. It is these special ingredients used in very small proportions which contribute to the individual character of each Vodka. (By small quantities I really do mean small; typically these extra ingredients are measured in parts per million.) This edition of Beluga's super-premium vodka comes in a wonderfully snazzy bottle that lights up! Fitted with an LED label, there are even different settings to choose between so you can have a continuous or flashing light! Excellent vodka with a glisteningly eye-catching bottle – this is sure to inspire party vibes wherever it goes.
