Not content with just announcing Bayonetta 3’s release date, Nintendo’s European and Japanese branches have gone a step further by announcing some physical goodies. Browny Kind of where I am at to be honest. I keep trying to get into it, but it never quite holds my attention beyond the first chapter. I feel like I would be buying this purely for novelty purposes. Fight your way through the streets of Tokyo, the mountains of China, and many other locales! Along the way you’ll meet a virtual coven of Bayonettas, each more fabulous than the last. You’ll also slash and slay as Viola, a feisty witch in training who fights with a sword and a capricious companion, the demon Cheshire. Find out what fate awaits Bayonetta, and if this arcane alliance can really save reality! I'm confused about why now make a physical version of the first Bayonetta and not when Bayonetta 2 Switch was launched, especially when Japan got that Special Edition that included Bayonetta 1 physically.

That physical copy is tempting… but with a few exceptions I avoid buying purely for collecting’s sake. An exception being re-buying Cave Story+ for the Japanese cover art (US release), even though I already had the first release physical edition. Maybe not my best move, but… oh well, maybe I’ll give away a copy. Nintendo was unsure how well the Bayonetta ports would sell since it wasnt particularly great on Wii U, so they wanted to have just 1 SKU and not have 1 & 2 compete. It’s Halloween and fittingly Nintendo has added a trio of games featuring the likes of aliens, demons, and vampires to the standard Nintendo Switch Online selection! For the NES library we have two games that originally skipped North America. Demon World, a game directed by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto that… For those who don’t know about the Bayonetta 3 Trinity Masquerade Edition. It’s the recently announced collector’s edition for Bayo 3. Included in it are the following; if I could buy Bayo 2 physical I would also get Bayo 1. not sure about having 1 and 3 but not 2 in the set. hmmm.I get it could be because of Bayonetta 3, but how available is Bayonetta 2 physically right now to make physical copies of the first. This makes sense, of course, given that the Trinity Masquerade Edition of Bayonetta 3 will come complete with three custom sleeves to use with each physical game, linking them together to form one cohesive design. So I'd like to get it just to have a physical copy... but I have the digital copy that came with Bayo2 and I never played either since I got them at launch... not sure it would be worth the expenditure. Nintendo not only confirmed that Bayonetta 3 is finally releasing on October 28th, but they also announced the Trinity Masquerade Collector’s Edition as well as the fact that the original game is getting a physical release. Originally this was only available digitally (except for Japan where it was included in the CE).
