The mirror maze at Prater in Vienna probably served as an inspiration. In addition to the short mirror gallery at the start of the inspection route, the building’s main attraction is a diorama depicting Prague townsfolk fighting the invading Swedes on Charles Bridge in 1648, more specifically the defence of the Old Town Bridge Tower, led by the Jesuit, Jiří Plachý. The painting and its setting covers some 80 square meters; the joint work of brothers Adolf and Karel Liebscher, created with the help of Vojtěch Bartoňek and Karel Štapfer. The last section of the tour is known as the hall of laughter, fitted out with variously distorting mirrors, in 1911. Maziply Toys is proud to be a part of that as the most amazing mirror maze in New England. Mirror Maze in Pop Culture The exhibit was called A Mirror Maze: Numbers in Nature. The main attraction of the exhibit was a mirror maze spanning 1,700 square feet. This exhibit was designed to introduce natural patterns in our world. It did this by immersing visitors into the maze to introduce how those patterns work in a mathematical way in nature. "There are many things I enjoy about doing STEM projects with students. First, I love seeing the excitement and joy on students' faces when they can experience first-hand something they've learned about in class. Second, I believe STEM is more than a curriculum or a lesson. It is a mindset that values curiosity, imagination, and problem-solving, and I think all students benefit from this mindset. Finally, STEM is just fun! It's loud and messy and can sometimes look like organized chaos, but it's mostly fun!" The first Mirror maze was believed to be made by Peter Stuyvesant. His inspiration came from a visit to the Palace of Versailles in Versailles, Yvelines, France. The Palace had a Hall of Mirrors that was built in 1689.
