In 2022, Yves Saint Laurent announces L’Homme Eau de Parfum, and thus brings another variation of the 2006 L’Homme fragrance. The curated combination of notes creates a magnetic perfume that evokes elegance, strength, and courage, but also vulnerability.

This eau de parfum has a woody, floral, musk profile that aims to offer a signature scent for the modern man . L’Ultime is an EDP and has a lasting power of at least eight hours, but reports from wearers suggest that they’ve smelled it the whole day.An extremely well done flanker off the OG La Nuit De L’Homme. Retains a bit of that original dna but, goes into a different direction with a clean Grapefruit & fresh Ginger like type vibe that is sheer perfection. Longevity is actually quite good on me nearing almost 8 hours for a freshie. Projection is nice during the first 1 1/2 hours then it gets closer to the skin and giving lovely whiffs of this gorgeous musky, ginger, light citrus aromatic. Towards the middle & drydown there is a slight woods accord that comes in and balances it extremely well. I get no Rose accord at all but, the Vetiver & Cedar do show themselves at the end to round out this wonderful elixir. A definite must have for any man that wants a very good fresh scent that does not go via the aquatic or marine type notes. S ignature scent worthy for the warmer days without hesitation. My favorite right behind La Nuit.... Read full review L’Homme Ultime by YSL is a powerful choice for modern men with surprising delicate notes that emphasize its strength. It’s a great choice to wear at the office, where it will have a positive impact on those around you. After 3 months of use, I was simply curious what scents are contained in? I found out that it was simply grapefruit, rose and cedar wood! Since I have become an absolute fan of rose/wood/oud fragrances I just couldn't believe this composition :) The perfumers behind this fragrance wanted to create a fresh scent that would be both delicate and full of power.

L’Homme Ultime has been discontinued, but it can still be found as part of various collections at department stores and online.L'Homme EDP retains the core of the L'Homme franchise, which is a signature woody combo, this time presented in a more powerful, delicious, intoxicating variation. Like liqueur, the bitter essence of bitter orange goes well with the Infusion de Bois de Chêne accord. This new ingredient, distilled from oak shavings from cognac barrels, brings about a new trace and perfume signature. Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Ultime (2016) was poised as an "ultimate" version of the original YSL L'Homme (2006) composed a decade prior, and as an atypical flanker seeking to improve the original rather than supplement it, I'd say it was a pretty mixed bag that resulted in failure and discontinuation. In some ways, I do like it better because it has a nice "clean rose" that wasn't in the first version, but in other ways I find Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Ultime to really be more of a supplement than it cares to admit, much like it's brethren since something is lost in translation by stapling rose onto the original L'Homme DNA and adding in a different base material to the equation. The original perfumers Dominique Ropion and Ann Flipo return, but Peter Wargnye sits this one out and is replaced with Juliette Karagueuzoglo, who has also worked on various other L'Homme flankers. L'Homme Ultime didn't set the world on fire any more than the original, but for fans of that rarest of categories known as the masculine floral, this might be the closest one finds within the L'Homme range. As a fan of rose, this stuff barely meets muster to me in that department, but is so nice overall that I can overlook it. L’Ultime is presented in a clear bottle that highlights the loveliness of the pale blue liquid inside.

Finally, a little tip for Parfumos who do not know him yet: Who likes Armanis Profumo or Versaces Dylan Blue, should perhaps also this YSL L'Homme Ultime times closer look ... Now for the actual scent. I didn't really like the bottle that much now, because I think all YSLs from the L'Homme range are pretty cheap. This plastic cap and the bottle are only good for the actual juice ;) Well, we as perfume rats are only interested in the contents! As far as I can tell the H/S is pretty good for a designer scent. It lasts for about 6 hours with me and in the first 2-3 hours I get a lot of compliments ;) The fragrance has a fruity/woody vibe that goes in the metallic-floral direction as I think. But because of this already very individual composition I even find that the fragrance is suitable as an allrounder! Last year several youtubers started celebrating the fragrance and since then it is already in great demand!I came across this fragrance 2 years ago before it was hyped by various YouTubers. When I discovered the scent, the association of a good and expensive gin and tonic came directly into my head:D Since I was even active as a bartender at that time, I found the scent very appropriate. Before it was allowed to be taken up naturally into the collection it still needed the agreement of the lady of the heart ;) She also immediately took this gin and tonic fragrance was and said this fits great for the summer / spring time and the GT now just experienced a renaissance was a clear buy recommendation. You may have smelled some of these familiar colognes before, and it’s always a good choice to revisit them. 1. La Nuit de L’Homme by YSL Its freshness combines well with the more sensual note, and it creates a light profile that you can pair with anything. Where Should You Wear It?
