The Deleted Scene Storyboards feature an introduction by Tom Holland, who showcases storyboards that he drew personally for the film, but for a scene that was never shot due to productions costs. The occasional moments of softness are to be expected for a film of this vintage and when taking into consideration the photographic style of Jan Kiesser. The release will feature a new 4K scan from the original camera negative, with Dolby Vision HDR and a new Dolby Atmos mix along with the previous 5. This prompts Charley to contact the police, who laugh him off after questioning Dandridge’s roommate, Billy Cole (Jonathan Stark).

I’ve had this on my list for making a ‘some kind of special edition’ after my Fright Night OST - Final Cut album. It’s possible to read this as a metaphor for an inter-generational recognition of the contemporary AIDS crisis, which in 1985 was reaching pandemic proportions. Because violence had to be implied rather than shown, filmmakers were forced to be doubly creative with the camera, and special-effects gimmicks were used only when necessary, often reserved for the latter half of the movie. Both are quite entertaining and informative, though the edge must be given to the first track due to Chris Sarandon’s involvement. I have a few original score tracks that were used in the film but never released, such as the opening track after the main title display.Much of Holland's movie stays true to this as well, giving his viewers only glimpses of optical and mechanical effects as the story progresses and postponing the best for last. The real good news is that there’s not only an audio and video upgrade, but both old and new supplemental material makes the double dipping worth it.

While he seems heterosexually inclined, there are aspects of his behavior that indicate a bisexual or even omnisexual disposition. Der Film kann sich auch heute, trotz seines alters noch sehen lassen und hat nicht ohne Grund einen hohe Stelle im Horrorgenre und dass auch noch in der heutigen Zeit. FRIGHT NIGHT l Sony Pictures Home Entertainment FRIGHT NIGHT is beloved by fans and it seems like at least one of the cast members is always being celebrated at one of my local cons. This submissive position is echoed later in the scene where Jerry “turns” Evil Ed, with the image of Evil Ed on his knees before Jerry accompanied by language that acknowledges Ed’s “difference” from other people. Since I recently wrote about what makes this flick stand out from the pack, I will reference this op-ed, rather than repeat myself.Beyond all that, Holland also introduces a spec trailer that editor Kent Beyda created when he and the director became concerned the trailer that the studio cut misrepresented the tone of the film. Holland cannily uses the figure of Peter Vincent to emphasize the fact that Fright Night is (at least superficially) an affectionate throwback to old-fashioned monster movies, akin to Fred Dekker’s The Monster Squad, another love letter to Universal horror films.
