Cover lids are available to fit these plastic boxes, and cable ties can be added to the lids to provide extra level of security. The Euro compatible containers mean they can fit evenly on to both Euro pallets (800 x 1200mm) and UK pallets (1200 x 1000mm). These containers can also be manoeuvred safely and easily on mobile dollies for extra storage flexibility. Various heights and footprint dimensions are available within this range and many of the containers are Euro sizes. Due to the sturdy material, you only need one hand to hold the tray so you have one extra hand to plant out your seedlings.

Like all the other propagation trays in our range the CD30 is made from uv-stabilised recyclable polypropylene. Our single plastic dolly, the rotoXD90 as well as our rotoXD54 double plastic dollies are designed to handle stacks of these bale arm crates with ease. We supply many different accessories to help you with your storage or transportation of your plastic crates. On many occasions in non-commercial sites 40 plants may be far too many and 10 plants or 20 plants may be preferred. Our range includes the Charles Dowding range of 600 x 400mm, 500/540 x 300mm and 350 x 215mm seed trays.Our collection includes a wide range of food grade containers, such as the bale arm crates, stack nest containers, confectionery trays and maxinest crates. This allows the HR20 to save valuable space on the propagation shelf, or for when you need fewer seedlings of a specific plant. Almost all vegetables in Charles’ market garden, also known as Homeacres, are first sown in these CD60 seed trays and more recently for smaller propagation quanities - the CD15 and CD30. Easy to clean and with a dappled exterior to make removal of sticky labels easy, the SN190 Maxinest crates can stack nest and have large comfortable handles that can be easily gripped, even when wearing gloves.

Models inter-stack – The range of Maxinest bale arm crates includes many different sizes, but they all include strong bale arms (swing bars) that raise toward the centre of the plastic containers, allowing different models to stack on top of one another.
