I brought this DVD set for when my Granddaughter comes over and i must say she loves all 3 DVD`s They are great in these winter months when the days are so short. My daughter didn't start to speak until she was 7, but learnt hundreds of signs and this DVD is so much fun and so motivating she couldn't help but want to learn to communicate. I don’t know what I was expecting here; I guess something from what’s rapidly becoming a bygone age of model-making, stop-frame animation, or even just something vaguely Thomas the Tank Engine-ish given the link to that show’s producer.

I was a little sceptical of the DVD at first, not really believing in dumping babies behind DVDs, but I totally recommend this as an activity to do together. The first segment being two pizzas representing a woman and a man, and a segment of a walking tiger which was terribly sculpted. Small children, even babies, love being sung to and, as they grow older, they appreciate the ridiculousness of some of the nursery rhymes.
