The writer, Thomas Tull, calls the Family Man murders the perfect crime story. He believes the killer may never be caught.

James Patterson is the gold standard by which all others are judged. STEVE BERRY, bestselling author of the Colton Malone series To make their investigation even more challenging, is the arrival of Thomas Tull, the mega-bestselling nonfiction crime writer, who has come to Washington to perform his own research for purposes of writing a book on “The Family Man”. Tull has been part of previous murder investigations and even contributed to the capture of several serial killers that turned him into a famous personality with a large fanbase. His intent is to join Alex and John’s investigation and be on the inside, and if they refuse him, he will do his own thing and beat them at their own game. One of James Patterson’s cornerstone series has got to be Alex Cross. I have followed the adventures of DC’s great investigator for many years and can usually rely on something great. Patterson keeps things sharp in this piece and juggles numerous plot lines effectively, without getting too muddled. Fans of the series will likely enjoy this book and feel a sense of urgency, shelving the idea that Alex Cross ought to hang up the handcuffs for good. I’ve been reading James Patterson books for over twenty-five years. During that time, like most of his fans, my favorite character has always been Alex Cross. He was Patterson’s first detective series that helped lay the foundation for his kingdom of several bestselling series and stand-alone novels. For me, Alex has remained a fierce, intellectual knight of moral character and the proper use of action.

Triple Cross by James Patterson Summary

Once again this world renowned author has come out with another thrilling book. This is the latest in the Alex Cross series however it still reads well as a standalone. One of my all time favourite authors, and he did not disappoint. Alex and John are working the case of a serial killer who kills entire families. They have a clever killer on the run, never leaving any clues. At the same time, Alex's wife, Bree has a top secret case in New York. The Alex Cross books are always full of action and adventure, and with short chapters, they are really hard to stop reading. The murder of a glamorous DC socialite becomes Alex Cross’s deadliest case since Along Came a Spider. On the verge of resigning from the D.C. police force, Detective Alex Cross knows he can't refuse this case. His partner John Sampson has a friend who has been framed for murder and is facing the gas chamber. His accusers? The United States Army. As a...

Novel Title: Triple Cross: The Greatest Alex Cross Thriller Since Kiss the Girls (An Alex Cross Thriller Book 28) James Patterson is said to be the world’s most popular author with sales in excess of 400 million. I can understand why. He is a master of his craft. Using simple words and phrases that anyone can understand, and hooks at the end of every chapter, the pace rattles along so no sooner have you started to read than you find yourself at the end. A precise killer, he always moves under the cover of darkness, flawlessly triggering no alarms, leaving no physical evidence.

Need Help?

Quite some suspension of disbelief is required to accept that a professional like Bree Stone would make such a mess of a covert operation, and her cavalier attitude to involving a civilian in a potentially dangerous situation. The resolution of that case comes out of left field and leads right into a teaser for the next book. Alex isn't the only one investigating. Also on the case is a charismatic true-crime author who sees patterns the detectives miss. When a mysterious serial killer known as "M" launches a deranged "investigation", Alex Cross and his partner must unearth long-forgotten secrets to survive -- or risk getting buried themselves. This is a collection of three shorter James Patterson stories. Each story is from one pf Patterson’s most popular series: Alex Cross, The Women’s Murder Club and Michael Bennett.

Every so often I try a book by someone I decided long ago that I don’t care for, usually so long ago that I don’t even remember why I took against him/her. This time, figuring that a gazillion people can’t be wrong,* it was James Patterson. As already noted (and noted, and noted) Triple Homicide is a collection three novelettes by James Patterson (plus whoever has done the actual writing part on that story) each about a different one of his series characters. The writing is completely charmless, devoid of interesting or novel or challenging concepts. In the first book an eight-year-old child asks “‘Dad, why does America treat its combat veterans so poorly?’" The second ends with the lines “Then she whispered in my ear, ‘We’ll meet again.’ Then she was gone." 2⭐️s for what it doesn’t have - there are no painful grammatical errors, no offensive language or XXX-rated sexual encounters, no animals hurt. Nonetheless, not recommended. Top plastic surgeon Elijah Creem is renowned for his skills in the operating room, and for his wild, no-expense-spared "industry parties," bringing in underage exotic dancers and models for nights of drugs, champagne, and unin...Props to an author who can keep a series going for 30 books, but certainly no surprise if the books get weaker and weaker. It should be a crime having this much fun solving a murder mystery! It’s opening night at the hottest show on Broadway. Half the audience is applauding wildly...and the other half is fleeing in terror. Has playwright Osmond Box done it again? Or has he done something far, far worse? A new audio drama brought to life by an all-star cast including John Lithgow, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peter Gallagher, and Aldis Hodge. Second in the military crime series featuring Special Agents Scott Brodie and Magnolia "Maggie" Taylor, after The Deserter (2019).
