About this deal

We check and properly profile the playing surface of the frets and then make sure the fret ends are finished off properly. Due to the nature of this pedal’s circuit, higher feedback settings will result in some signal degradation on subsequent repeats. I've been looking for an analog delay pedal as of late (mostly so i can play the end part of eruption correctly lol). The Donner Yellow Fall delay features true bypass wiring, and a three knob design with controls for time, echo, and feedback.

You could also go with a digital, DSP, based delay if you want something more than the basic analog delay. They work pretty well to a decent job with slapback type sounds although they don't get quite as warm or modulated sounding as BBD based delays. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Thankfully, that’s not the case with the Yellow Fall because Donner has kept it very simple when it comes to the control layout. I have the AnaEcho and the Ibanez AD-Mini - the Ibanez preforms better - no vol loss when engaged, great slap-back.

Die 8 Tracks, die pro Step einen unterschiedlichen Ton, ein anderes Instrument und zwei Effekte abspielen können, ist umfangreicher, als man vielleicht zunächst denken könnte. The different combinations of echo, feedback and time settings provide me with unique results to enhance the sound that I am seeking in the songs I am playing. With only three straightforward knobs it's very easy to use, and I enjoy making spaceship noises with it.

Anyone here know how it compares to more expensive delay pedals like the Boss DM-2 or the MXR carbon copy? To get some of those warped, downsampled sounds, try quickly turning the knob down and back up again while feeding signal through it. The sound possibilities are quite limited due of the amount of parameters but the it can produce very standard delay effect but also some more atmospheric reverb effect like sounds. I don't have a lot of experience with any other delays but in terms of general pedal factors, build, noise etc this little guy is every bit as good as any of the more expensive pedals I've used. Although on its own, this chip does provide longer delay times than the quite popular Bucket Brigade Device MN3007 analog chip, the PT2399 is still limited to a maximum of 340 ms.

I now have a tremendous variety of effects for rock and blues now that the Yellow Fail has joined my Donner FUSH-DRIVE White Tube Overdrive Distortion and Ultimate Compression pedals on my pedal board, which I have setup as preamp. Simple to use, and can be pushed into self oscillation, which is something a lot of other delay mini pedals wont do. Most cheaper analog delays are built around the PT2399 chip, a reverb/delay chip original designed for use in karaoke machines that's kind of halfway between old "bucket brigade" designs and DSP based designs.Aside from being budget-friendly, the Yellow Fall is simple to use and easy to adapt, making it an excellent choice for both newbies and professionals. All guitar necks move and change over time so we will make sure that your frets are nice and flat as we go up the neck. In the other review for the compressor I forgot to mention that one of the appealing things about the Donner pedals is they all feature true bypass foot switches, and so overall sound integrity is never compromised. The Yellow Fall provides up to 620ms delay time, while many other analog delays of this size only offer the common 300ms.
