I have got a bit of an obsession with Aperol Spritz and wanted to get a bottle for the weekend and it was sold out but Morrison's have their own version so thought I would try it out but also try and get a bottle of Aperol to see if they are the same. Bella Apertini is best enjoyed when paired with a simple soda or added to a cocktail with soda and prosecco and fresh oranges.

This bottle contains 20 servings and is described by the supermarket giant as being an "aromatic cocktail mixer made from grain alcohol blended with citrus and spice flavourings".

THESE ready-made cans are a great idea for portable summer al-fresco bevvies at picnics, parks or anywhere else you want to glug on the go.

It wasn't as artificially sweet as some of the other options and had plenty of flavour even when in a long drink with the lemonade mixer. Invented in Italy in 1919, the original Aperol is an alcoholic aperitif made with citrus, bitter roots and herby flavours.The Spritz is one of the best-selling cocktails globally, which is why we wanted to roll out widely across the UK so everyone can have a taste. The bottle design is fairly similar to the original and like all those on offer, it doesn't shy away from being a "summer cup".
