About this deal

There is a push button release for the lid that is away from any steam areas so you can refill right after a boil without risk of being burned (something many kettles still lack! You could probably by cheaper kettles than this if you were just looking for something cheap and functional. Water level window on both sides of the kettle with a lid opening button the top of the handle and an on/off switch at the bottom. What’s more, for added safety, the Bosch Village kettle also switches off when it’s lifted from the base too. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Bosch kettles are available in many styles and sizes, and some can even be colour coordinated with other kitchen appliances such as toasters and food mixers. Our previous kettle had a small opening and it was a pig to get to the filter which due to it's very flimsy design would break during it's removal. I'm very happy with this purchase and it was a good decision to replace our perfectly healthy but poorly designed phillips kettle that has now been donated for free online to someone. It boils quickly and quietly, it pours well (the spout looks quite big and I was worried it was going to drip, but it hasn't yet! This leads to dried-on water marks and a small puddle on the base unit, and for the sake of a minor design change to put a small V shape into the front of the spout to solve this dribble, but it is not a problem but it is an annoyance on an otherwise good design. This compact design will fit discreetly on your kitchen table top, bringing affordable quality to your home. If you think that's over the top hyperbole, then I'd respectfully suggest you don't fully grasp the level of our tea addiction. I do appreciate that this is as long as War and Peace, but this is a really really great kettle once you have got over the taste issue ( but it may not be a problem to everyone ) and the spout issue is minor, but it's an annoyance.

I've never experienced a bad taste in tea or coffee even though that does happen with other kettles in my water area.Originally formed to supply spares to the trade, we now carry over 10,000 different lines and have over 600 appliances on show. My water is regularly reboiled about four times before emptying, but I would never top up a part-filled kettle. If I had a problem with this kettle, as the spout is circular it will dribble water down the front of the kettle as you take it back from the pouring position to upright. Nice large top opening lid , for filling with water, which due to it's design, allows any condensation to fall back into the kettle.
