About this deal

Having worn it a good few times, I was really surprised to see it listed here as Unisex, it's about as masculine as you can get without smelling purely of diesel and wood shavings. The opening is all about very refined incense (slightly sweet and minty) and perhaps that is due to the olibanum, which is present in the opening but not dominant, I have been trying to locate the oud but can't find it at any stage, the opening also contains woody notes of some sort (but not the oud type woody notes), opening stage stays for about half an hour before it transitions into the mid stage where the olibanum becomes the main player (and OH MY GOD how beautiful this perfume becomes), very subtle with a gentle trail behind you that drips CLASS, what a scent. After the 12 hour mark it was more so a skin scent but wow the fact it was so so easily detectable with out trying to find it was amazing.

I can see why Black Afgano has been mentioned here, the vibe is there, but they are overall different scents. The Ambery Oud accord sits at the heart of the fragrance, complemented by a blend of dry woods and smoky resinous notes. I don't see the similarities with Black Afgano or Oud Wood, which I both own and prefer to the Gucci. Sadly I am unaware of what specific batch my decant was taken from so am unable to comment on the batch variance of this scent.GIO will make you smell unique to ordinary noses that are only familiar with fresh, citrusy, or sweet designer fragrances. Where as gucci intense oud is generic designer mass pleasing synthetic smelling sweet floral fragrance. I remember getting compliments 11hrs after application because I was still filing up a car 11hrs after use. Although it can be decisive, some people might not appreciate it, I've gotten a negative comment from a family member before, but I'm not gonna let that stop me from rocking and enjoying this.

The oud is pulled back giving it a more woody ambery quality that many of my new purchases haven't got.My dad gave this to my brother, who then gave it to me because he doesn't like oud and I gave it to my husband because I couldn't get past how MASCULINE it is. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. i would say its only good if you working in office setup or during high end party as it will kill a vibe of luxury if you rockup in jeans and polo.
