About this deal

Hiccup and Toothless are the perfect characters to root for: underdogs who nevertheless come out on top. I've so been hoping that as I continue this series, my ratings would creep up to five stars as I found the first couple good but young. The Nanodragon is, in fact, the great king of the Nanodragons and self-proclaimed 'living god', Ziggerastica. After school, Cressida obtained a BA in English Literature from Oxford University, a BA in Graphic Design from St Martins and an MA in Narrative Illustration from Brighton. A great addition to an interesting series, it is fun to watch as Hiccup and Toothless seem to be ever failing as viking and dragon despite their growth from the last one or at least apparent growth.

How to Train Your Dragon has sold over 8 million books worldwide in 42 languages and is a major DreamWorks Animation film franchise, as well as being made into a TV series on Netflix and CBBC. In the third installment, while Hiccup and Fishlegs are out at sea learning the Boarding-an-Enemy-Ship lesson, they become lost. I have tried reading four books of the How to Train Your Dragon series, but sadly we are not compatible. And when someone they love is in danger, the children must set off on a rescue mission to a planet on the other side of the Galaxy .Her first novel for eight to twelve-year-olds, How to Train Your Dragon, was published to popular and critical acclaim in 2003.

How to Train Your Dragon is soon to be a DreamWorks film starring Gerrard Butler, America Ferrera and Jonah Hill, out in March 2010 adapted from the best selling How to Train Your Dragon series by Cressida Cowell. Además de que tienen unas ilustraciones toscas e infantiles que le dan un toque perfecto tanto a la edición del libro como a la historia. Non è da disdegnare neanche per quei “grandi” che continuano ad amare la letteratura per l’infanzia.

Also at the end of the book there is always a slight tease to what happens in the next book and this tease has made me very excited to read the next novel. Hiccup reminded me of Artemis Fowl with his plans, his cunning and his fierce intelligence, but he's more positive than Eoin Colfer's flawed (though IMO also very enjoyable! There are funnier children's books out there that have more charm than this, more adventure and better characters in general.
