Just a simple fruity almost tropical floral with vanilla and the tonka really stands out on me, love it as an everyday just running out or to spray on my sheets before bed. Minajesty, to me, opens up with a very strong fruity scent, almost like Grapefruit, but from the notes listed, I would say its the Lemon, as it is quite tart.

What it has been with each and every single one and now finally, I am realizing what it is about her perfumes; they are very synthetic, overly synthetic and cheap smelling to me. Yeah, so needless to say, perfume junkie that I am, one who THRIVES on fragrance compliments, I went back and bought a bottle! PF is still amazing and one of my favorites but on days when I don’t reach for it, I reach for this. The Orchid is the strongest floral in this fragrance I think, so again this is great as I love Orchid!It doesn't project for long but the few times I have worn it I do remember it stays close to my skin. bargain), i can see the similarity between this and the original minajesty, only this one is more tropical smelling and to me just smells of mango.

The bright, citrusy opening is my absolute favorite part of this fragrance; it really evokes memories of spring and summer days. Just like Nicki Minaj's other perfumes the musk is a soft musk that smells and feels like it's an idealized feminine musk like if you hugged women that's how they would smell.Of course there wasn’t much of note to sniff amongst the crowded shelves but one thing that did stand out as noteworthy was the new perfume by ‘Superbass’ diva and rapper Nicki Minaj. It's very much so your standard fruity-floral fragrance with not much dimension, strength, or staying power. Despite my serious ailment, yesterday Nigel and I made a worthy attempt at finding our wedding suits for the 985th time (again, a slight exaggeration) and in our frustration, and by ‘our’ I of course mean ‘my’, we ended up perusing the fragrance hall in Debenhams. it doesn't have massive depth, the lasting power on this is bloody brilliant though it lasts more than a day on my skin. Wore this last night to dinner with the family, and i must say it kept reminding me of Baby Doll by YSL.

Already made it half way through my 3 oz bottle 🙂 Get this if you want to try something flirty and playful for COMPLIMENTS! Overall I’ll rate both the perfumes 3/5 – even though I’m in love with the scents…the longevity and sillage is not good at all considering that they are both eau de parfums. Something in the middle and base notes gives me a headache, though, so I do try to be light with how much I use this one. However ultimately the downside of this is the lasting power, on skin it’s around 3 hours but after 2 it becomes a very sweet skin scent and on clothes 4 hours, however saying that for the first 30mins this fragrance projects, and it fills the whole room you spray it in, just a shame that it doesn’t stay like that. The bottle is rather alarming but I actually quite like it and will always give top marks for individuality!

Otherwise as a scent on its own, if we isolate the fact that its Nicki Minaj, and that its a celeb frag, i personally think its a rather successful fragrance. I love this Iv had 3 bottles it’s very sweet but has a citrus peachy undertone it reminds me of fruity shampoo I love it and always get told I smell gorgeous when I wear it.

It is similar to ''Collector's Edition'' by Justin Bieber, but that one is stronger and more floral than ''Minajesty''. The sillage and longevity are also pretty dissapointing, but it does last a good 3-4 hours, so I only wear it to college. Personally i wish the fragrance as a whole had more depth or character to match the kitschy bottle, but it works for a celebrity perfume.I saw an interview with Nicki Minaj and she said that this fragrance was something that she hadn't smelled before but it kept bringing her back to something else she smelled. I have already done a review on this fragrance, but after having it for a bit longer, I will update it! To be honest i have thrown away the cap, as its too chunky for the handbag, but the fragrance itself is very sweet and fresh, lemony notes are beautifully blended with the fruits and flowers. I'm so glad that I get a calming lavender surrounded by mango and a pinch of orange all snuggled up in a blanket of cream!
