Wenn der auch Untertitel nicht auf dem neuesten Stand ist (er wurde vor der Veröffentlichung von "Kill Bill gemacht" und bezieht keine Querverweise in diese Richtung ein), erhalten selbst Menschen die den Film ein Dutzend Mal gesehen haben und auch mit der Literatur über den Film vertraut sind hier noch neue Informationen, zum Teil aus dem Originaldrehbuch. Auf der zweiten Disc finden sich zwar keine neuen Beiträge, dafür wurden Beiträge aus den Neunzigern sehr liebevoll und sorgfältig zusammengetragen, die neben dem puren Informationsgehalt auch eine Zeitreise in das Jahr 1994 bieten.Auch ein fünf minütigen Ausschnitt aus Cannes ist zu sehen, in dem Clint Eastwood dem Film die goldene Palme verleiht und im Publikum "Skandal"-Rufe laut werden. Doch abgesehen von diesen einzelnen Kritikpunkten, hat man hier eine mehr als würdige DVD geschaffen, auf die man so gut eigentlich gar nicht mehr zu hoffen gewagt hat. Sans Tarantino commentary track, this may not be the definitive edition of Pulp Fiction, but it certainly comes close.
