The Superlight Range is more expensive than DD's other products due to the higher cost of using the lightest materials they could possibly source. Weighing in at approximately half a kilogram and with perfect coverage for our regular sized hammocks, the DD SuperLight Tarp is your ultra-portable shield against the elements. I'm looking forward to getting out and testing it, and deciding what other goodies to pack now I've got some extra space.And this was purchased as an upgrade, the product's packed size is about 30% of the original 3m x 3m, which is a huge bonus as it means more space in your backpack. It can be used as a hammock tarp, set-up on the ground as a 'tent', group shelter and many more uses!

The guy lines - only 4 and too short, the pegs - only 4 and although light they're not great to handle with tiny heads and dull grey in colour can be lost easily, and the bag is way too small - manufacturer stuffs it into the smallest possible bag to make it look small so it will sell- but once you add the proper length and quantity of lines and pegs and then try folding and rolling it back up in the field (as opposed to folded and compressed dead flat in the factory) you need to find a bag at least 50% bigger. I own a standard dd's 3x3 and loved it but wanted something lighter and small in pack size, this was perfect.Spacious enough for a solo camper plus a rucksack, the DD SuperLight Tarp Tent gives you shelter and protection from insects when you need it most.
