About this deal

Once upon a time, I had aimed to collect all of the Ologies ever published by the magical Candlewick Press; Dragonology, Egyptology, Wizardology. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and there are loads of little extras like fold out maps, flaps to look under, secret codes and even stroke-able textured skin samples with added glitter and sparkle. It is a faux-text book about dragons, talking about different kinds of dragons throughout the world.

All used books might have various degrees of writing, highliting and wear and tear and possibly be an ex-library with the usual stickers and stamps.

This book, like the other books in the Ologies series, is assigned a fictional "author" who then acts as the narrator of the book. Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons is a 2003 fiction book written by Dugald Steer, and published by Templar Publishing in the United Kingdom, and by Candlewick Press in the United States. Those who are too young to mind the words will find everything shiny and touchable to be the ultimate form of amusement.

And the way older folk (who, let's admit it, never really gave up on that dragon cuneiform anyway, now did they? Ernest Drake's Dragonology Handbook: A Practical Course in Dragons, [8] and Drake's Comprehensive Compendium of Dragonology [9] among others. But if you're willing to let go of the resentment at that, or if you just read it for the fun of it, it's great.Drake reveals that one of the crucial goals of dragonologists is to preserve the magnificent creatures of their study wherever possible - a goal this tongue-in-cheek volume most affectionately achieves. The publishers would eventually publish books with similar themes on the topics of wizardry, Egyptology, pirates, and monsters.
