About this deal

When storing your filament, please feed the loose end through the holes on the edge of the filament reel to avoid winding, so that it feeds properly the next time you are ready to print.

Reinforced spool with bigger inner diameter to allow smoother pull from extruder, unlike most black spool on the market which has a tighter inner diameter. eSUN filament comes in a sealed vacuum bag with a desiccant bag, easily keep your 3D printer filaments at an optimal storage condition and free from dust or dirt before opening the vacuumed sealed packaging. The increased strength and toughness makes it an excellent choice for a variety of printing applications.

PLA+ is a personal choice within the Creedo3D team and we are happy to tell you more if you have questions. If you are going to leave your printer inactive for more than a couple of days, please retract the filament to protect your printer nozzle. Their premium PLA+ filament range is specially designed to have high toughness, no bubbles, no warping, and to avoid clogging.

Made with starch raw materials derived from renewable plant resources, eco-friendly and non-toxic, no harm to to human and the environment. In single mode, with a single material, the pieces or printed objects have many threads in their surface finish, especially the Voronoi pieces. Haven't tried it on a Prusa yet, but I've found the eSun PLA+ likes to be printed a good 20'c hotter than normal PLA. If colour matching is an important part of your consideration we recommend the BASF PLA Filaments where the colour matching is more consistent. We found this material to be better than our previous generic filament in both consistency between batches and it's bright vibrant colours previously limited for our generic brand.

Then you say the settings "shouldn't" change much from standard, suggesting that you don't have any personal experience. It seemed counter-intuitive, but when I lowered the temperature to 195/200 degrees, it printed fine.

However, PLA prints are prone to snapping and breaking under pressure, and become damaged and discolored from high temperatures and prolonged exposure to sunlight or water. which seems super super low for this filament and I wonder if something is wrong with the hot end (its a brand new one, preassembled from prusa).

In my experience, eSun PLA+ makes a hot glob on the nozzle every time with the generic PLA settings. Good strength, rigidity, toughness balance, strong impact resistance, very suitable for functional parts printing;Approved by FDA, safer to use;Can be used for conceptual model, rapid prototyping.
