About this deal

The unevenness of this mark is due to me being a dork and not managing to cut straight… and the GH nipper is so sharp, it will cut the angle you place it at (I accidentally cut off a bit of the edge as well on another part cuz you don’t even notice any additional resistance). During cutting, the blunt end acts as a stabilizer, allowing you to hold the sharp edge as close to the excess parts needed to be removed as possible. For gate cutting of plastic modelsSoft grip" for easy gripping and patented "packing spring" technologySpecifications:Length: approx.

And after all that I can say, if you’ll pardon the pun, that using the God Hand nippers has cut my building time in half! We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. Compared to ordinary nippers, the cutting marks are much cleaner, so it is recommended for those who want to complete plastic models without painting. The maximum diameter of cut should be 3mm, so don’t try to cut up the sprue runners with your precious tool, but keep an old pair of nippers nearby for the task.Hold it up to the light and gradually tighten the grub screw until no more light is visible between the nipper's jaws. Using the basic cutter for the initial cuts and the GODHAND Nipper for the finishing cuts will keep its blades from wearing out or going blunt too quickly, and since the initial cuts don’t need as much precision as finishing cuts, you can use your basic cutter however you want without worrying about ruining the blade’s edge. The nipper’s purpose is to reduce the stress on the plastic as much as possible and produce clean cuts that might suffice for most people, however perfectionists like me will still need to reach for an xacto knife and (wet) sandpaper.

The second cut is as close to the part as possible, in this instance a curved edge of a propeller, leaving a pair of spurs that could be cut away again (and were), or sanded back. After more than a month of testing, I can say that the God Hand Ultimate Nipper is absolutely the real deal. If you value your modelling time and don’t want to spend it repairing damage from messy, inaccurate cutting of parts from sprues, these nippers will be a boon. Usually, when I cut pieces out of the sprue, I leave a small nub that I can then cut off with an X-Acto knife. at least is somewhat universal and likely the maximum thickness of plastic you should cut with this nipper.

To see just how small, here’s the God Hand next to my second slimmest pair, my Gundam Planet premium side cutters. Digimon Adventure (Japanese: デジモンアドベンチャー, Hepburn: Dejimon Adobenchā), known as Digimon: Digital Monsters[4] in English-speaking territories, is a 1999 Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation in cooperation with WiZ, Bandai and Fuji Television. The diagrams show the best techniques, using the thicker blade that I refer to as the anvil to ensure a square cut, using the thicker area near the pivot where the blade is strongest, and ensuring that you don’t twist the blade during cutting, as tempering makes the blade tougher, but it also makes it more brittle than mild-steel, so it will snap or shatter if mistreated. With very little tension, hold your nipper up to the light; if light shines through, the cutter is no longer functioning properly and would not be giving a complete cut; and if you can squeeze the nipper past what it closes up to, there’s a good chance that it may be damaged in some way.

Their special design cuts down with an ultra-thin single blade that shaves through the plastic, rather than pinching it. Real Grade Gundam (RG) is a line of Gundam Kits that was first introduced in 2010 as part of Bandai 30th Anniversary Commemoration Project. Make sure to coat every surface, since if you forget to coat even one part, it is likely that portion will start to rust. The Godhand SPN-120 are their most popular nippers with experienced model builders, thanks to their exceptionally sharp, single blade. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s surprisingly clean for such a quick build with so little effort. In this blog, we’ll be talking about the basics of how to use and care for your GODHAND Nippers to ensure that the time you spend with them is long and worthwhile. Always make perpendicular cuts as side cuts puts undue stress on the blade and may cause it to snap. Used it for the hands of the PG Red Astray frame (and other places of course) and it's the best set of hands I've done. The sharp edge made it easy to see where I was cutting and went through the plastic better than a fresh X-ACTO knife.
