The wheels and hubs are free-floating inside the box, with the electronic components – a Power Functions battery box and M-motor – packaged individually. This retinue of studless pieces is found in several unnumbered bags sprawled inside a rather empty box. I would have preferred that the functions were operated via a manual crank resulting in a cheaper model, with the PF being an optional add-on. But LEGO went the extra mile and developed a part many have been asking for which bumps up the realism of the driveline to a new level. Use the built-in LEGO® Power Functions to open the scissor doors, extend the rear spoiler and pop the hood to reveal the realistic V8 engine!

The three instruction booklets – ranging from 50 to 80 pages – are packed neatly into a plastic bag, along with a cardboard plate so that the booklets don’t get beat up during transit. It is a royal pain to use the battery box switch to change motor direction because it never wants to stop in the middle. There is nothing wrong with this model, but these are things I might have done differently or trivial improvements which could be made. The function works fine, but the mechanism leaves an ugly gap in the rear aesthetics, and the wing looks a bit half-baked.

The front of the box shows the main model and then the functions within the orange Power Functions band on the right.converts a single input (motor) to 4 outputs and must therefore contain the entire gear system required to distribute these functions to their remote locations. Besides the motorized functions, this model also has everything else you'd expect a supercar to have including 4 wheel double wishbone independent suspension, V-8 engine, differential, and steering. If it were any other color, that would have been a lot better and I would have reconsidered :) But the functionality seems great and the set looks pretty good (even though I usually don't like front-engine supercars). TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. I have a lot of red pieces because of my Ferraris, and the crane truck that will hopefully arrive this week.

Si tuviese que ponerle una pega, sería que debido a un mal empaquetado, asumo que por parte del fabricante, las pegatinas venían dobladas, y una vez puestas hay alguna que se levanta en alguna esquina. The car rolls very nicely, with the rear wheels driving a V8 piston engine found under the front hood. The other two functions on the transmission are reserved for the doors, which is also my very favorite function. Use it as a guide to the contents of the set, or to find out part numbers when requesting replacements.
